GRIN Opens New Studio Hints At New AAA Title

GRIN Gothenburg is located in the heart of the city with 700 square meters of top modern office space. When we open the doors on the 7th of January 2008 most of the team will consist of true veterans from the games industry that either come from the region or have moved in to join the ambitious project. GRIN will be hiring throughout the winter and spring.

”Gothenburg has a long tradition of games development but has been missing a really established development house in recent years. With GRIN’s bold move we will be reinstating Gothenburg as a high profile development region.” said Peter Björklund, Lead Gameplay Programmer, GRIN Gothenburg.

Last I heard, is that it's not GRIN'S job.. they turned over all source to UBI, and have MOVED ON.. they have been released from their commitments to GRAW2, unless UBI has come back to them for a patch?

Iff they have moved on, why dont they tell us....?
Ppl are w8 on some kind of 'patch' to fix this game. Them opening another studio is NOT what i was waiting for.

I've accepted I'll be a newbie forever, as I have a full time job, a house and a wife (and havin' fun with my baby-girl). Have you accepted that you'll be great at games but unemployed, homeless and single?

I didn't realize it was their job to tell us.., oh wait, maybe that's where I heard it?

Have you not seen the threads here discussing 1.5 being tested? Maybe you missed that on the home page (posted 12/1)?

I heard about the one in Spain, but Indonesia and Japan? Wow.

Not easy for a foreign developer to set up shop in Japan ...

The UBI Romanian office has done all the main QA work on GRAW2. Grin has only a few QA personnel in house, but with the Jakarta QA office Grin will have more QA capabilities then before.

There is no Grin Japan. That would be Capcom which Grin are working with right now on bionic Commando... not quite big enough to buy them out... yet. :D :P
