Raw Kryptonite Posted November 25, 2006 Share Posted November 25, 2006 I'd very much like to see a TRULY *blind seige*. What do I mean by that? Give the defenders3-4 locations for the base to randomly appear (or flares if you still prefer to use them). The attackers do not know where that base is, since it's different every time. Key: there's no red dot on the scope telling the defenders where to go. Hence, BLIND seige. For the attackers, give them a choice of 3-4 random spawns, or make it automatic and random. They need to work together to recon the area to find the base. Once it's been spotted, THEN it shows on their scopes since it's been marked (either by sight alone or a lasing system). Then the assaulting and defending really takes off. Kind of adds another objective to the current game and keeps it randome. Maybe instead of flares, it could be different objectives on each map? Weapons shipments to inspect, weapon crate drops to capture, a satellite communication dish to take out, take out the terrorists get-a-way helicopter and THEN take them out.... Don't be afraid of multiple objectives. Just for kicks, have civillians randomly running through a few MP games as NPC's, just to keep shooters on their toes at identifying enemies. Keep um coming...I understand that the GR powers that be do listen and read these pages? I love the objective based idea in blind seige...flares suck and the location being on the map and on the HUD from the start without any recon is very weak....nothing blind about it...lol.
