As You Mod You go along in a Process to achieve a Desired Result.

That said - The Desired Direction / Result of Our "SPV" Mod has been to Complement the Stealth Aspect of Overt / Covert OPs within the TACSIM Game Engine of "Ghost Recon™".

Our Kit Loadouts for each Spec. have been designed to foster "Mission Successful Results" by giving Those FireTeams that are assigned Various OBs within a Mission - The necessary Weapons to Deal with the Threats that They'll come up against as They move to complete those OBs during said Missions.

As the "SPV" Mod has gone through It's various Incarnations and Refinements it has - Through that Process - Reached as close as is possible to the Actual "R.W." Kit Loadouts that a SPECOPS Team would or could take on an OP so as to achieve those previously spoken of - "Mission Successful Results" - No matter what OP was handed to the Team(s).

For Us - This has always been in the Interest of attempting to Limit Our Kits to those that "R.W." SPECOPS Teams actually Use and Utilize to achieve the same "Mission Successful Results" for Themselves and their Teams - In the "RW"...

There has never been ANY attempt by the |S.O.T.O| Mod Team to give ALL of the Kit Loadouts and Weapons that would /could be available to Teams such as those spoken of above.

Our Desire has purely been to give Us - What We, |S.O.T.O| - Have asked for in Our Kit Loadouts so as to produce "Mission Successful Results" for Our Team within "GR".

Simply stated - This is a TACSIM ( Tactical Simulator ) - And so Our Team's Loadouts w/ "SPV4.3" Enabled have been based on as close to a "RW" Model as Our Mod Team can with the Modding Tools currently available at the Time of Our Mod's Release.

Additionally some Weapons have been bought Stock ( As is Common in the "R.W." ) and then given to Our Team's "Armory" for Modifications to those Weapons - Where necessary ( As is Common in the "R.W." )...

IE.

- 7.62mm M4A1 ( Re-Chambered from the 5.56mm Rnd. to the 7.62mm X 51mm NATO Rnd. / R.I.S. Modifications Added ).
- 7.62mm M4A1 SD ( Re-Chambered from the 5.56mm Rnd. to the 7.62mm X 51mm NATO Rnd. / R.I.S. Modifications Added / Co-Axial Suppressor Modifications Added ).
- Basic 4X Trijicon Scopes w/ N.V. fitted to Most Crew Served Weapons such as the M249 S.A.W., M240 N.V.G., M60E3, MG3, & Russian PKM.
- The MM-1 40mm AGL has been given ( In Effect ) a Scope of 2X to reflect the 2 Modes of You bringing the Weapon up to bear from the Chest when firing It ( 2X ), as well as You bringing It to bear off of the Hip and firing It ( 1X ).

My turn to revive a very old thread. However, I love this mod and after my hard drive crashed I lost it. It isn't available from the downloads section here at gr.net and it isn't at any of the links provided in this thread, nor is it at the SOTO clan's new site.

Anyone have this that they can send me? Or send to Rocky to get it added to our downloads?

Rocky already has it, I have Gbs of mods that need uploaded, they are done on a request bases at the moment :thumbsup:

Check new additions to the downloads in about 30 minutes, it'll be there.

@ SC, I was going to contact the SOTO guys, but their site hasn't really had any action so I wasn't sure if anyone would get it. Haven't seen any of the SOTO guys here, either. Also, their site mentions the discontinuation of the SPV5 mod updates, although that was for BF2.

Yeah, ive downloaded once from that link from ghostaholic.com and its corrupted, then ive found another link in woody2000 and downloaded from there, it was ok, but the link is now off.

i just dled it, unrared it and installed in a "virtual mods" folder with no problem.
I cant test it since i dont have GR installed, can someone tell me where is the problem?

The problem was during installation, i think the file didnt extract correctly, if it has extracted now then should be ok.
