stripeyrob
Hi folks- not been around a while- not full desert camo? Makes sense to me as the Brit Mil doesn't have enought to go round so lots of guys deploy with the only decent jackets they have- which are all temperate cam. So it fits very well. Great job Monty.wow! they look extremely nice. just a question: why no full-desert camo? ← full desert camo. re-textured buttpack and vest. model by Dog-Zebra camo and vest by Wildcat ←
stripeyrob
SAS tags??? Are you serious? They don't wear tags. Did you really need to ask? And as for a 'stone' on their backs- kevlar plates? Or rather ceramic ones as yet again we are a bit behind other richer countries!!!Hi folks- not been around a while- not full desert camo? Pingvinx
Say what???? Are you serious? I don`t think the wear plain kevlar/ceramic-plates.. If you can find one single picture of a sas wearing a plate, please let me know.. I don`t think they wear any kind of body-armour at all.. SAS tags??? Are you serious? They don't wear tags. Gen.Montgomery
Whats this about? I didn't mean to disrespect the British military. I dont know how to make any models in 3dsm, thats why i just re-texture them. im still new at this re-texturing. I'm really sorry if i made a wrong model of the SAS vest/kevlar/chest rig. I didn't mean to offend anyone. :( Edited November 20, 2004 by Gen.Montgomery
CommandoCrazy
oh sorry, i didn't know that the SAS does not have tags on the uniform. (i'm no british military freak) i think the full-desert camo is very nice. (DS plays in 2009, so why shouldn't the brits have full-desert camo. nobody knows what there will be in five years.) Stalker
Don't worry Gen.Monty! You haven't offended anyone and if you have, you shouldn't bother. stripeyrob, don't get mad if others make (in your opinion ) wrong statements
