JayPee
As the title says. I'm having near 60 FPS unzoomed, but as soon as I start zooming in, the FPS drops. The more I zoom, the more it drops. Max zoom of the M24 for example I'm left with +/- 15 FPS. Using 1280x800x16, 16bit z-buffer. Any clues? When tested I did not change aiming position ofcourse. Zeealex
It's the same on my Laptop, try and lower the screen a Resolution a bit.
JayPee
The overall FPS increases when I lower the resolution, however, the ratio at which zoomed FPS is reduced compared to unzoomed FPS, is roulghly the same: 4.
RileyFletcher_01
I get bad lag when zoomed with high graphics settings, especially when firing a rocket with zoom.
Zeealex
i think it has something to do with the way the engine controls the texture LODs, such a quick demand for the textures to gain LOD might cause the Engine to lag a tad.
JayPee
Yo Zeealex, think that's fixable?
Zeealex
not without an engine addon, no, it might be something COMPLETELY different though, not making any promises, but it's a logical educated reason.
