rich870 Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Hi, I'm b rand new to this forum. I bought GR2: 2007 First Contact for my PS2. However, it doesn't seem to work properly - at least the way the instruction manual or the Prima guide says it would. When I try to add a new profile, the game comes up with a default name of Mitchell, why? I've got the Prima guide, but the game won't let me select weapons like it says in the P guide or game booklet. I don't see a mission briefing prior to a mission and I can't select squad members. I've returned the game to where I bought it and exchanged for another copy, but it does the same thing! Can anyone tell me what is going on? Should I reformat my memory card - I put a new one in before I put the first disc in (the one I returned)? Any help would be appreciated. CR6 Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Mitchell is the name of the main character. If I were you, I would not waste much time playing GR2 PS2. It was made by Ubi Shanghai and is nothing like the Xbox version which was made by the original Red Storm developers. The best GR game for the PS2 is still Jungle Storm.
