Tinker
The official announcement of the next game in the Call of Duty series is coming later this week. A promotional video for the next episode of Spike's GameTrailers TV promises a teaser trailer for the game that "will be talk of the Internet this weekend" and "put all the rumors to rest". The new episode will air in parts of the US starting at 5:40 am GMT this Saturday, 1st May. The new game, which developer Treyarch has been working on since at least last May, is rumoured to use multiple Cold War settings, possibly focusing on Vietnam. Other news: Three COD games coming in two years

CR6
Yeah, the trailer was a little underwhelming. Too much "black" and not enough "ops" to see. The in-game video didn't even look hi-res ... not sure if they meant it to look so blotchy.
CR6
Here's a link to an excellent analysis of the trailer that actually has got me somewhat interested in the game: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gt-pop-block-call-of/65166

CR6
I don't have high hopes for MW3. In the hands of totally different developers we may see what has happened to GR/R6 happen to the MW franchise too.
Hammer
Although COD 5 World at War was an activision game it was developed by Treyarch and i think they done a good job so im looking forward to the new title. It will make a change from all these modern war type games Im not saying there bad ! just that there are to many of them now, and im getting a bit bored of them
