  2. MOST of you have accounts already from way back. Anyone who had an account prior to April 15, 2011 will need to follow one of the instructions below to re-activate the account. New Accounts just register and it will make an account for you on the ladder and forums. Accessing Old Existing Accounts: 1. Please login to the forums (you can request a password reset from the forums) and post in the support section OR PM me. I will then activate the account on the ladder. 2. IF your e-mail has changed you will need to send me an e-mail at: holden dot thecombatzone dot net Thanks. -HC Main Site: http://thecombatzone.net Forums: http://thecombatzone.net/forum Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TheCombatZoneNetwork Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/TheCombatZoneNetwork

Thanks for you PM. Sign up on the site via that link. I am finishing the site and will move it. Could use a lot of help with admin of GR and forum moderation if you have the time.

  6. I remember your team bro! Stand up and an asset to our community. Thanks for posting. That's awesome! Well we are working on the hero part. Stay tuned!
  7. Administration Call: The Combat Zone Network is looking for players willing to volunteer some time at TheCombatZone.Net It would be to support the game of your choice. We are looking for forum moderators and competition leaders. We have been around since 2001. We made our bones in Operation Flashpoint and Ghost Recon upon our opening. We look forward to the evolution of the Battlefield Series (BF3) and Ghost Recon! We support the PC and Xbox community. Any admin candidates need to have a passion for the game and the community. Level headed. No mavericks. With an interest in serving the competition community. We were the first site to coin the phrase "By the teams for the teams". We are currently going through a major overhaul. With over 20,000 registered users from around the world we have a strong history in the community with proven results. A no "BS" competition site that is not here to offer you cash prizes. Rather a high level of expectations for our administrative team and zero tolerance for "problem children" and "problem teams". It's not for everyone but our typical dedicated player is mature in attitude who takes their game seriously and has the skill to back it up. You'll work hard to earn that coveted 1st place. We host tournaments for charities. Tournaments typically draw prizes from our sponsors. Unless you're a diehard ATI fan you will appreciate the swag and hardware from Nvidia to name a few. This is the only time you pay to play. A donation to the American Cancer Society or other charity for the right to compete in the tournament. Some Questions: Can I compete even if I am an admin? Yes you can. However any support issues or complaints regarding you or your team would be handled by an outside admin and if you are the team captain you would need another representative for your team during the mediation period. Favoritism? No. Admins that have tried to pull rank or leverage their position have been removed from the site in the past. Admins need to serve you not themselves. How many hours are required on the site? Up to you. Quality of life is everything. If you can put in a 2-3 hours a week that's ideal. More the merrier however keep in mind depending on your role that time may be dictated by a support ticket as opposed to stopping into the forums to moderate over the weekend. Do I get paid? Sure if blood, sweat and tears do it for you. Its a volunteer position. So nothing monetary. Mission Statement? To create a fair, consistent arena where teams and players can compete head to head to find out who is the best. We have zero tolerance for cheating and disrespect for others. We may not be the largest online gaming site but we have one of the largest stand up group of teams and players looking for good games. Web Site: TheCombatZone.Net (The site presentation and options will change in a couple weeks). FB: TCZ Facebook I'd like to thank Rocky and GR.Net for the hospitality and allowing me make this post. Feel free to send me a PM on this site or e-mail holden at thecombatzone dot net - Holden

  9. We have opened registration for the GR3 Leagues on The Combat Zone. Feel free to register your team on the leagues and get involved in the rule development. Currently we have this listed as a 7v7 Team Survival. A lot will depend on the games final release and of course YOUR involvement. The rules at TCZ are designed and implemented by the community so feel free to get involved. The leagues are open for North American Teams and European Teams. http://www.thecombatzone.net/league_view.php?id=12 The forums discussing them are open. Expect several leagues and ladders to open in support of the exciting release. Many of you will notice that The Combat Zone Network has gone through a major overhaul. We have new code rolling out daily along with a new cutting edge presentation. Thank you all for getting involved and making TCZ one of the best places to compete for the last 5 years!
  10. With GR3 on the horizon. Many of the teams that have been involved with TCZ and Ghost Recon since their inception back in 2001 are gearing up for a huge tournament! Looks like we will be having an Old School Tournament in Ghost Recon Classic! WOO HOO! The GR community is setting up this tournament at TCZ where the players who have been competing for years will go head to head with players that have recently gotten involved in competing online or you could read it as the old farts are up against the young bloods. I am sure Ruggy and Fury will have some smack down for this one! I'm reinstalling to get in the mix. Check out the forum post that is going insane on our forums. Always gg's and this is just going to add to the excitement about GRAW coming! GR Tournament Thread and Planning TheCombatZone.Net
  11. Happy Holiday's people! Be safe, have fun, enjoy your friends and family! Looking forward to many gg's in 2006! The Combat Zone Network Tactical FPS Gaming Since 2001 http://www.thecombatzone.net
  12. In the next week will roll out our new league code. We are looking for teams to get in the mix and help us test this code before the end of the year. If you are interested we would love to have you involved. Feel free to PM me on these forums or on the TCZ forums. Thank you all for your support. It's great to see a lot of the people who have made us successful still involved with these forums. Thank you again! HC
  13. I just uploaded several large match replays from some very good teams that are still competing online and will be at TCZ for GR3. I have another 400 replays to upload over the course of the week. Stay tuned and feel free to get involved! We are pumped about GR3 on the horizon! http://www.thecombatzone.net/replay.php?id=2 On a side note anyone looking to get involved with the TCZ Administration and assist with the roll out of GR3 and Lockdown give me a shout!
