  1. Nice job guys! Can't wait to play it!
  2. well, everything worked for awhile, so I tried turning on DS and IT again, and poof, no start again.
  3. Well, now I see The Ike log is referrencing GR errors. (?) ARRRGHGHHHH!!! THIS F'N GAME!! And by the way the wireless microwave dsl connection I have is (accoding to the provider) more reliable and efficient than wire dsl or cable. Anybody wanna take a stab at this report and tell me what they think? 4. What would you have paid to avoid 9/11? What have we paid? It will come again if we let Sadist Saddam run free. He IS hiding something. Exactly, he does not need a heart attack, but a change of heart. He still has the chance to lead the inspectors by the hand and say, look here is where we destroyed this stuff, here is the documentation, and here is a line of people ready to tell you all about it. But he has not, because they did not. Let the bodies hit the floor.... -just my opinion and worth what you paid for it-
  5. WOW! We should all bow our heads in awe! Here's the deal: I have tried All Seeing Eye and I still get booted out after a couple minutes. And, I said AND, this is after I reformated my hard drive, bought a real copy of XP and installed fresh drivers all around. I have not gotten much sleep lately. My broadband connection is a microwave antenna on my roof to a local tower essentialy giving me a dsl with 250up/500down. I've got a call in to their service to see if this type of connection might be the cause, because after I get booted.....no internet connection...no ping nowhere. I'll post results and maybe someone searching down the road will save a few steps. Probably my fault I didn't notice I had lost connection, but I still don't know that's the answer. Thanks everybody....and if you have any experience with microwave broadband your comments are welcome!!! -just my opinion and worth what you paid for it-
  6. I have this same problem and have been following the post. I use a CD-RW not DVD. After reading the posts I went to my "modsset" folder and mp1 and mp2 were listed. I deleted them and presto, GR started. I will report back after trying some mods and games on ASE. ps. win xp sp1, dx 9.0, GRv1.4, athlon 800, 640ram, geforce 4 mx440 64ddr -just my opinion and worth what you paid for it-
  7. Thanks for all the above suggestions. I messed with DX Diag, updated VIA chipset, lowered all video settings (geforce 4 mx440 64mb ddr), tried 3 or 4 different nvidia drivers, took everything out of the startup menu, and no change yet. I have tried them all except ditching UBI which is next! I believe you are correct here, as there are no other problems with my connection. Someone on UBI told me windows XP is not supported and that my be the issue. Anyone run XP on UBI without problems? Thanks again for the posts! -just my opinion and worth what you paid for it-
  8. I've done a search here in the forums on this issue and it seems all the relevant posts are having trouble hosting games. My problem is playing them. I can join a game, start playing and then it crashes. Sometimes right away, sometimes after a couple minutes. Sometimes GR crashes back to UBI, and sometimes it fully resets my comp. I can play single player no problem, so I don't think its video drivers or DirectX. I also have a fresh install of GR, DS, TI and v1.4 I guess my question is, could the problem be router related. I've seen many posts on forwarding ports to my computer. Here is what I have in the settings now. 9. Now you can be your own stick man! http://store.yahoo.com/enjutsukai/stickfight9.html
  10. I recently uninstalled EVERYTHING due to some wierd things that were going on with some bad mods. After I reinstall GR, DS, IT and 1.4 patch GR will not start. I even tried just GR with no patch no mods, just by itself and nothing happens. No splash screen, no crash, it just doesn't start. Performance has always been good, so I don't think it's hardware or drivers. I appreciate any suggestions and thanks for the help guys! here's the IKE: (i left off the complete module list) GhostRecon caused an Access Violation in module GhostRecon.exe at 001b:0045282f.
