I like this idea and would like to add a single addition to it: Since it has those little lines between you and your nearby teammates, perhaps it could change the color of the line if they were speaking.

There's 2 different(possibly more but they aren't relevant) versions of the GRO website, http://ghostrecononline.uk.ubi.com/ and http://ghostrecononline.us.ubi.com/ If you are from the US and you go to the UK version of the site it will say you are in the queue, if you go to the US version however, you should be able to enter a key. The problem is the CVG keys wont work on the US version of the site anyway, so you're kinda stuck. I have heard there's a way around it but I can't confirm weather or not this works: 1.Use a VPN program to change your VPN to a UK VPN. 2.Register a new account at http://ghostrecononline.uk.ubi.com/ 3.check the email address you registered under to validate your account. 4.Click the apply for beta button and enter your key. assuming that it works you should now be able to download and play the beta, but again, I cannot confirm if it works or not.

If you are from the US the keys from that site wont work.

I've heard that if you use a UK VPN, then make a new account at ghostrecononline.uk.ubi.com, activate your account, and then log in you should be able to download the cleint and play. I haven't tried it myself though. Also even if it does work, you will probably have high ping if you don't live close to the UK servers.

Admittedly this doesn't look very much like ghost recon, but it does look like it has the potential to be a very good game, kinda like in the way Robert Downy Jrs version of Sherlock Holmes was very different from the one Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about, and yet he was still an interesting and convincing character. That is of course assuming they don't screw it up. I do hope that we will be able to find a game that does play like the original GRs though. Maybe the next Rainbow 6 game will be like that somewhat.
