  1. Hey all, I've been playing co-op and I have noticed that GRAW2 is attracting more tk'ers lately. I don't know if there's a term for INTENTIONAL team killing. (jerk ?) I've noticed a player with the name "Evil" getting on pub coop games and team killing -- usually, it goes on for awhile, then he gets vote kicked. But he logs right back on... He doesn't say a single word. Which made me think he was a confused, non-english speaking player... BUT tonight, he was on with a couple of "buddies" -- "PounderofAss" (gay dude?) and "Bru". I didn't realize they were "together" (ahem) until I noticed that they were following each other around and teamkilling everyone in sight. In hindsight, it's sorta ironic since they were a tk coop... After awhile, I took it as a challenge -- really hard to complete a coop mission when you have 3 tk'ers launching grenades -- but THEN, a bunch of regular players started getting angry and tk'ed them... It was ridiculous, and it made it impossible to complete the mission because the tk'ers and regular players were camping the spawn area. >sigh< I've read a few threads about setting the team killing and kicking limit, but I think there should be a WIDER general BAN put on tk'ers. ESPECIALLY on CO-OP servers. I don't think an IP ban is enough. Especially since lots of people don't have static IP's. I realize a ban on a specific "license" could be troublesome for many reasons (your little brother gets on your computer and starts acting stupid, erroneous reporting of tk incidents by corrupted client files, you're only a "jerk" when you're drunk, etc). But a small group (2-3) of tk'ers basically emptied the server in 20 minutes. And what's more cr@ppy is that I think some of the 'regular' players probably feel like team-killing for fun is now an option. Anyways, I've also noticed there's a LOT more private servers running coop.....and I suspect it's because of this exact problem. I guess this was a mini-rant of sorts. (Or a reflection on the problems of coop.) But I think coop is pretty damn sweet, and I think it deserves to be improved upon and fought for. Hm...one last thought: the relatively new map coop_dam (and its variants) seems to be the only one which ATTRACTS good players since it requires some modicum of skill, concentration and about 1 hour to complete. h2-doh
