Hi wombat50, I know about the adjustments in Sound Options. That doesn't allow me to adjust gun fire sounds without also affecting background sounds such as wind and animal sounds.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have a good look through the forums. From memory I tried the patches included on the disc as well as downloading them and in the same order you mentioned except for DS and IT.

Hi, I bought a copy of "Ghost Recon Complete" (1 dics GR, DS and IT). I installed it on my Game (F) Drive and was getting a "insert CD" message after installing a patch. This was some time ago and I think I hadn't installed the other 2 expansions first time but later tried different installs with the same problem. In the end I uninstalled it and reinstalled into the default © drive and it worked until I tried patching it. Since then my main drive died and I had to reinstall everything (XP Pro SP3). What I want to know is if this game has to be installed into the default drive and which patch to use ( I don't play online)
