thx guys!

we're working hard to present you this mod asap.

don't think otherwise. :)

as you all hopefully knows and that i've learned is this:

missons/campaign add that little xtra to a mod, but it's diff. to script

when i don't have a PC, the IGOR thing :wall:

so i have to rely on some good people to script missions for me.

an easy thing would be to just release a weapon/skin mod, but it'll

be better with a small campaign to go with it really.

and may i add a very important thing.

as always, many creators of maps and weapons have given me permission

to use things that they've made.

a big hand to those who produce the magic for us to share....(if asking permission) :)

im happy to show you the latest (and probably the last) addition to

MVD Osnaz weapons arsenal, the GM-94 GL.

the creator behind this beauty is......Natsanwa of course. thx a lot m8!! you're legend.

from what i've learned it's a capable CQB Gl, excellent for room to room clearing.

the caliber is 43mm, but the key feature of HE warhead is that it is made mostly of plastic, and its primary kill effect is achieved by the blast (high temperature and high pressure). Kill radius is said to be about 3 meters. (source: world.guns.ru)

here are some pics of a Rus operator equiped with the GM-94:

hi guys...and girls! :)

the mission scripting is progressing at a nice speed, so i've been told by the ghost scripter

i've also testplayed two missions and i like what i see and hopefully you too.

here are two more specialist chr's:

OMSN Sobol operator in Raster camo with the ever popular AK-74M w GP-25 GL

raster_camo-2.jpg

VV MVD Rus operator in the very special SKAT-O camo, not so widely deployed but still in use :)

im also very happy to notice that the GR scene is really buzzing with many mods under way and

a very dedicated community.

cheers all you guys out there

best regards/ ingeloop

Three days without any news?????

im sorry guys!

it's me to blame, i've been quite busy when i've not been modding.

a small update:

another scripter has joined the team and is now working with the GS.

missions are coming together quite nicely and i've been writng mission briefings.

it's harder than you think :wall: sometimes, it's not enough having them in your head.

also when writing a diff. language than your own, but it's good training.

the actors are all done.

weapons too, apart a small addition or two.

the same goes for the kits.

so basically it's only the missions left, some testplaying and briefing and cycle images.

thanx for having patience / ingeloop

  • 2 weeks later...

Usually the development phase of a mod has a direct impact on the number of posts made by the mod leader.

In fact:

- at the beginning there are many posts to propose the idea of the mod and to see if the community likes the project;

- the number of posts slightly decreases while the modder are starting the creation of the mod

- huge increase of posts due to the many screenshots to show about the new chrs, vehicles and so on

- posts almost absent: this is a clear indication that the mod entered in the scripting phase (it's very difficult to show somehting during this phase)

- posts increase slightly when the release is close.

Having said that it looks clear to me that the mod entered its deep scripting phase.

yes, im very sure this mod is going to be good. or at least it feels so. :)

you might wonder why im not updating every day? right?

as explained earlier in the thread, the mod has gone into the scripting phase and missions

are going to take form.

this is going to be a 5 mission campaign, with some straight forrwad missions.

so what are you doing ingeloop then?

well, one thing im doing is that im going thru the specialists, chr's and rsb's.

this campaign is going to have a couple of winter missions, so i have prepared winter skins for

the regular operators and the campaign specific specialists.

but you'll find a .zip folder named "real desert skins" with desert skins also in the chr folder, should

you decide to run this mod with other maps tagged as desert.

boy it's hard to choose the specialist that arre going to be in this mod, i've done a great deal of nice

looking chr's and i want them all to be in. but this is not going to happen :)

the other is that im preparing a .html read me/credits file, i've seen them in other mods and i find

them quite nice.

what more is there to say?

im not doing this mod by myself, oh no. we have put together a nice small mod group that im quite

proud to be a part of. really happy in fact.

the members will be revealed soon......very soon

but two guys that must be mentioned, but seemed to have disappeared, are sopmod and natsanwa.

cheeers guys, you've contributed a lot to this mod. more than you know.

btw, where are you guys!!!!!!

i hope that i've teased you to check up this thread and see how we progress.

remember.....modding is not dangerous........it's addictive w00t

´til next time guys and girls /
