Went to the ultra sound place yesterday morning. Was very anxious as I knew we'd be finding out what the baby's sex was. After a nice long ultra sound experience, the nurse lady FINIALLY got to the "what is the sex of the baby" part. As soon as I seen "those parts" on the ultra sound, I just knew exactly what I was looking at lol. I was overjoyed as I seen this. I asked god for a boy, and he's giving me one! I've always wonderd why Blizzard never made this sooner. I've been waiting for a StarCraft II, or some sort of new SC game for a LONG time. What I'd REALLY like, is a World of StarCraft. I've tried World of Warcraft and it was ok... but I think a StarCraft version would be way better, and i'd be more willing to hand over that $15 a month or whatever it was for WoW. Either way, I can't waite to get my hands on StarCraft II. Gotta love those Blizzard CG movies after every couple missions. Hell, thats probably the reason I played Single Player most of the time was just to watch those CG movies.

Demo works for me. I just downloaded it earlier tonight to actually see how the game is and yea it works. I put screen resolution at 1024x768x32 and most settings at ultra high, except for shadows which I left low. Basicly I didn't really get to test how the game ran as I wanted to do co-op, and unfortunatly I couldn't find any servers that actually did anything. The ONE server I made it in, I was stuck as a seagul, so I left and created my own host just so I could actually play. No one joined my room, and so I was forced to get pwned with my fellow AI team-mates lol. Deffinitly picking up the full version when the money becomes available. Wanted to get it with this paycheck coming this Friday, but unexpected expenses my girlfriend told me about probably will stop me from making the purchase. Hopefully in 2 weeks from this Friday i'll be able to get my ArmA on lol. Ohyea, if anyone has a decent Demo Co-op server, plz lemme know cuz if this is the best I can get out of the demo, then it wasn't worth the download.

Copy that Buehgler. That sounds like the most realistic thing that would happen. I don't see a reason why they would split up the compatibility with other countries ect. I'd hate to have to buy another ArmA when the US version is released. Difference for me is either buying ArmA this Friday, or waiting until May 1st. I obviously want it ASAP, so this Friday sounds like the better deal to me. Quick question: The english version, is that basicly a UK version right? If I were to play SP or something, will the voices have the UK accent? If so, is there a way to get the US accent in-game for realism purposes? Thanks for the quick reply as well.

So yea, I REALLY am looking forward to getting this game, but had decided to hold off until May 1st when the US version is released. NOW, i'm starting to question my decision. Is this English version out there right now basicly the same as what I will get with the US Version? If it is so, then I do not see a reason to waite another full month to buy the same game I can get... right now. Thx.

Ok, so I currently have a stone-age PC (which just crapped out on me as far as i can tell) and now have the money to upgrade. Heres what I have for a set-up thus far: CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz LGA 775 Processor Model MotherBoard: MSI P965 Platinum LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard Video Card: ATI Radeon X1950PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400 Power Supply: ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply Tower: RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black SECC STEEL ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply Ok, so now for my questions: CPU: I heard on other forums and from Toms Hardware guides, that the 6400 is better overall then the 6600 because it can OC to a faster speed on stock cooling. What are your takes on this, and is there any reason why I should deffinitly go for the 6600 instead? Mother Board: Again, on Toms Hardware, they tested a variety of MoBos and the one I chose came out on top. Anyone use this board and can tell me why I should deffinitly get it, or why I should not? Also, anyone who wishes to tell me which board they use and why they think it's better then the one I have chosen, feel free to chime in. Tower: I only chose this because someone recommended it to me from another site. Anyone know of any better towers that are around that same price range? I don't really need all the shiney o0o0's and ahh's. I just want a basic tower that has good ventilation and cooling. If the one I chose is decent, then i'll leave it there even though it probably costs more just because of its fancy LED lights and all that BS lol. RAM: Again, only chose this because someone on another forum recommended it to me. 1 guy did mention a buddy of his went through 6 stix of this RAM with it being no good every time, so they ended up going down to the next lower speed or something. Anyone else have experience with this RAM? Anything better out there I should check into? Thats about it.... normally i'd probably ask about the video card as well... but it always seems to end up being a "flip a coin" type thing. I am going with this card because I never used NVidia befor, and have always used ATI in the past. I also plan on upgrading to Windows Vista and a DX10 video card in the future. It is pretty damn expensive, and I thought it was justified by them havign to have LOTS of GOOD servers for so many people... but what U said makes me change my opinion. If thousands or even millions of people are online playing this, all paying for it, then they should deffinitly be making plenty of money for the servers plus a good bit of pocket change. Anywayz, it is pretty damn fun for me so far, but like LightSpeed said, it could end up getting old, i've only had it for a few days so im still brand new to it and am quite addicted. I guess it also depends on if you really like this kind of game or not. There is about to be an expansion pack coming out called The Burning Crusade in Early-Mid january(i forget the exact date). It adds 2 new races, a whole new "land" or "world" whatever it is, new skillz, items, ect ect ect. You can download it for free off blizzards site and I think you get like a 10 or 14 day trial, so I'd say try it out, if you think you can keep playing and pay for it, then do so. Game itself is pretty cheap to buy... only like $20 USD at BestBuy. LightSpeed- Only thing bad about trading this in for ArmA is that from wat i've heard, you need a real kick-ass PC to run ArmA. This game runs nicely on my PoS AMD 1.8 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB, with DSL 7mb/s internet. Dunno how well or even IF ArmA would run on my PC lol.

My girlfriend bought me this game for x-mas and im just starting to try it out and man is it addictive lol. I was curious if anyone here plays this? My hopes and thoughts exactly. I dont know if it's just this crappy PC and Monitor that i've got here at work... or if it's just YouTube, but just about every video i've watched there dosnt have the best quality. That's why I wanna see a nice quality fan made GRAW PC video/movie so i can really see all the detail.

Haha, yea i believe that GRAW is a great game. I have it for the 360 right now... but i believe it's gonna go the same route it went with me for Gr1. I bought it on XBOX, it didnt feel very good, i think i read on these exact forums way back when that Gr1 on the PC just felt so much better, so i went n got GR1 and wouldnt ya know it, Gr1 was a TON better on the PC. Gr1 was my first actual real game for the PC.. and it basicly launched me into my PC gaming "career" lol. I do plan on doing the overhaul. This game is one of the top reasons to do it. I am a huge fan of Co-op... how is it in GRAW PC? I prolly will need more then an hour and a half... but i get relieved from my post at 6 AM and it's 4:30 Am now so I wont be able to view them all.. but hey, theres always all of tomorow night lol.

Hey everyone, I've been gone for quite a while. Met a lady, moved across the US, dont have my PC sent out to me yet, my employer finially got the internet for the PC which is right behind the desk I work at so i figured i'd hop on. I have checked in every now n then though. I want to pick up GRAW but from what i read, i will need an overhaul on my PC once it gets shipped to me first. So, to crave my appatite, i was wondering if anyone has created any nice GRAW Movies or anything like that? I remember a bunch being made for GR1 so i figured maybe there are some for GRAW.
