  1. Ok, I got GRAW 2 last night for the PS3. I haven't tried on-line yet but a buddy and I tried the offline multiplayer to see how it was. Something kind of weird was going on though. When we moved our guys felt very spongy. It would take a bit to get the guy up to speed and when you let off the analog stick the guy wouldn't stop immediately. The guy would take about 4 to 6 more steps after the release of the stick. Can anyone else confirm this? We tried the offline coop and offline solo elimination and it was like that with every game mode in offline. Now after trying the offline i decided to see if the singleplayer was the same. Well it wasn't. The game felt so much better in singleplayer. The movement was so precise and clean. I will try the on-line too but I'm sure that will be fine too. Anyways, Can anyone else confirm the sluggish offline multiplayer that Ive experienced?
  2. This is cool. I cant wait to get this game. I have a question though. Who is developing the PS3 version and do they happen to come around these forums like the PC Dev's do?
  3. Ok, I received my FragFX earlier today. I played with it for about 4 to 5 hours and have some info to share. Comfort: The controller is easy to get use to using as per positioning of fingers on the buttons and so on. I didn't have too much confusion hitting the wrong button. Usage: In general the controller is fun and easy to use. The on the fly sensitivity adjustment is sweet and seems to work just as one would imagine. The left hand dongle seems pretty comfortable (odd at first but very easy to get use to) I didn't really use the frag button in gameplay but it definitely slows things down when pushed. There are a few issues i would like to see improved upon in future production though. The left and right mouse buttons travel in a straight down fashion. This wouldn't be much of an issue but if you put your finger fully on it like you would a normal mouse then push down it doesn't seem to respond as good as if you put your fingertip on top of the button and push straight down. Picture examples: For me a normal button push on a mouse... On the FragFX it seems to like being pushed straight down like this.. Then again i think this could be easily fixed if they made those buttons respond quicker. Right now they respond near the bottom of the button travel. If they were to make them so the buttons responded with very little button travel then the above issue with downward movement wouldn't matter. The other buttons sensitivity could be adjusted alittle to make them more sensitive also but that might be able to be done with the firmware update. Ok, Now the only other thing i can think of that seems a bit weird to me is that when i move the mouse slow it seems to be a touch jumpy but that might be just a matter of getting the ingame and controller sensitivity adjustments correct for my liking. Then again its probably just picking up the small jerkiness of my hand movement. Now you may say this sounds like alot of problems but to me its nothing i cant get use to. In the time i spent playing with it i saw myself improving and adjusting to the FragFX controls. I know i will do better with this controller after i have practiced and mastered it. I give this controller a great rating because it really does do what is expected of a mouse controller. My issues are probably just my own opinion and not really product flaw. I guarantee i will adjust to the things i mentioned as flaws and it will become non existent to me. Just as a pretty hardcore PC gamer i became pretty picky on response time of button pushes and so on..lol A couple other pics.. Ok, I have some news to report. All the issues i spoke of that have to do with the buttons not being sensitive are going to be addressed with a firmware update from SplitFish. It will make it so you can change the button layout and adjust every buttons sensitivity level individualy. This is very good news because i like my buttons sensitive to the touch...lol
  4. Hi man, Im still waiting on my FragFX. There have been a few problems with stores keeping them in stock..hehe As soon as i get mine i will come post a review. Right now im mainly playing RB6 on the PS3. I love the game but wish it had better buddy and clan support. Maybe it will be patched in...lol Im getting the wired version but thats only because i dont wanna wait for the wireless...hehe I think the wireless is the better choice if you can hold out for it. I have talked to and played with a couple people that have used this thing (The Splitfish clan). This thing is a PC gamers dream come true. It makes for amazing headshots. The ability to max out the sensitivity and still keep control over it makes it very awesome. With any luck i should have mine by the end of the week and will write a review here asap. Also take note that EB games has them currently available on their websites so anyone interested in a wired version should be able to pick one up.
  5. With any luck i will have my FragFX tomorrow. Im hoping this works out well because i just cant handle playing FPS on consoles with the standard controller. I know a few peeps who have gotten the FragFX and love it. They say its just like a PC mouse with a few added extra features. I miss playing on my PC but this controller will give me that back atleast to a certain degree...lol Im looking forward to GRAW 2 on the PS3 but because its being ported over im nervous about it losing stuff along the way.
  6. Its all good. As long as it eventually gets released then i dont mind the wait. Im not gonna push them to give me an incomplete game.
  7. I will definitly get this on the PS3. As of the delays. Well i dont mind. Let them finish it up and give me a good product..
  8. I wonder if the true power of the 8800's will show after Vista and DX 10 come out...seems that it should since its made for it... but ya never know...maybe it will be worse...lol
  9. The only problem with Grin telling us what they are fixing/adding is...what if it doenst pan out and cant be added or fixed like they intended.
  10. LoL, I sold my PC and put money down on a Pre-order for a PS3. I started out on consoles so its no surprise that im going back to them but im sure im not out of the PC race all together...lol

  12. I think Grin uses triggers to spawn the enemy so in this case you havent reached the trigger area so the guys havent spawned. Just a guess but Grin can validate it.
  13. You are right Colin on the last sentene cause thats exactly what im doing...well im leaving PC gaming...I started on Consoles and im going back to Consoles. Ive been on PC gaming for about 3 to 4 years and had fun but its gotten too aggrivating for me.
  14. Here, i just posted this in another thread but thought you could use this info too...It is a reference to another problem but you can follow the directions to get what you want. There is a way to do it but it takes a little extra work. Ok, here is what ya can do. First...because you have your good map rendered at DRAFT. Save that bundle to a specific location. (not custom levels) Second... Do the export with the 5 passes on your map to get the mini map looking good. (now you will have 2 map bundles) 1 that has a good mini map but dont work and 1 with a bad mini map but does work. Third... open up the good mini map bundle and pull out the good mini map TGA file. Fourth... Open up the bundle that you have the bad mini map in and replace it with the good one. Now you need to manualy rebundle the file. That would get you a good mini map in your working map. If you dont know how to rebundle the files here is a good tutorial on how... http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=36760
