  1. Also, if you happen to be running any type of internet access control you may have to add the ubi application and GhostRecon.exe to the "allowed to access the internet" list. [TT]UhOh
  2. Is there anywhere on the internet where the MP respawn points for each map are shown or described?
  3. I would bet GR will still be going strong for another year or more. It will take some time for GR2 to completely take over.
  4. I'll agree and disagree with Rocky here! You can use a programmable gamepad if you like. The question is...Is it worth the forum abuse if any other PC gamers find out!? On an GR note, if you're gonna game online and you've got the rig to run it PC gaming is the way to go. Great PC games last a long time on the PC. The players themselves keep it alive. Thanks to a ton of hard work by modders who aren't making a dime off it. You can run your own servers. You can pick up GR and both expansions on discount and used shelves cheap. There's a ton of clans available. This website alone is a testament to how long a good PC game will last online. This game is what, 3 or 4 years old now on PC?
  5. I use the N52 hat for up and down as well. I've macro'd them to drop me in a flash.
  6. I like an FPS controller. Belkin's latest speedpad (N52) is around $30 and programming is quick (and macros). I had a Claw which played okay but didn't last very long, it just up and died and I play maybe 9 hours a week tops. I like the push-to-talk on the mouse wheel button idea. That's a change I'm making. Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the help and quick replies.
  8. What is a "Total Conversion" mod? Does this mean that if I install a mod described in this way that I will not be able to activate and deactivate it like I can with Frostbite or HX5? Or.....does this mean that when a total conversion mod is active the game is completely different until it is deactivated? Basically I am looking to run War Of Infamy but I don't want to not be able to play DS, IT, FB, and/or HX5 at other times. (I'm hoping this isn't a repeat question on the forum, I didn't find any answer when I searched)
  9. You can also add selected applications to a list for access to the net. Then it should work everytime. Only hitch is everytime I run a patch I have to go back to the list and re-point it to that executable.
  10. I generally try to keep my hard drive usage under 75% full and then let Windows assign the amount of VM. That way you get the most space available for VM. Keeping 25% of your drive free will open up a good 2.5GB on a even 10GB drive (a small drive these days).
