Blame
Today I got my GR:O account suspended for defending an Iranian who was being offended by 3 Egyptians, ofcourse after I told those 3 Egyptians to ###### off and a bit of something else. After I said that, some [GM] guy started pming about the rules and stuff, yet one of those Egyptians started calling me an ahole, ###### and so on, I told that [GM] guy "meet my ignore list" and then 2 minutes later I was disconnected and my account got suspended. So apparently when some suck-up goes crying to a Mod about being told to GTfO, they immediately jump to my PM and start talking, but when I'm in trouble with playing the game they ignore as much as they can. Once again Ubisoft has proven how F'n ridiculous people they have working there, I'm on the tip of quitting GR completely. One of those Egyptian players is EGYN00B Edited September 27, 2012 by Blame

Blame
Apparently I get reported for calling people laggers, because they are. Just 4 people from MRU was enough to ban me...Like 30% of the clans know about this bug that makes them lagg... Clans such as: P.G , CBR , MRU and a few others... Even people from my clan [EST] are complaining and it starts a huge flamewar.. between clans and the people that are not involved.. 101459
I can't defend Blame -- I wasn't there and don't know what was said, but Ubisoft's rules for forums and texting in games have become some of the most onerous, petty and sophomoric with respect to how they are enforced I have ever encountered -- and that enforcement gives every appearance of being very arbitrary and/or highly selective where it has nothing to do with the spirit in which the terms of use were written -- with many GM's and Mods operating as solutions for problems that don't exist. I was shocked to discover that many of my Steam friends who I have never seen as having any inclination to any sort of misconduct or behaving in any manner that could be regarded as untoward (no less in abrogation of game or forum rules) have been banned from Ubisoft forums and/or games... I'm going to send out a message to all eighty-six people I know on Steam and see just how many of all I know have been banished from venues they paid to receive some benefit from... Granted -- this is Ubisoft's property, we only 'license' our games from them, we don't actually own the games, we do not have ANY rights to even expect the games we pay for to work, or deliver on any features or capabilities implied by Ubisoft advertising, or statments made on the product package -- this is explicit, a legal fact that I understand and accept. As well, Ubisoft's right to conduct the most explicitly onerous, discriminatory, selective action against it's paying Customers without being required to offer any means of redress or even objective follow-up of facts is completely within their rights. But I doubt I need to explain the point all this has driven home and made clear to those paying Ubisoft Customers and Share Holders capable of independent thought... Blame
GR:O is a f2p game, but the part that I hate the most is that all of those 400 hours that I put in to that game is most likely wasted.
Rocky
Without going into individual cases, I would support any effort that teaches adolescents what is and is not acceptable behaviour. It's a good life lesson, in addition to combating the horrendous issues game chat lobbies have with unacceptable behaviour. I would hope that there's a two strike rule or similar though. Nobody reads terms and conditions of use so a warning should be issued first, followed by a ban.
Blame
To me it looks like people that are using offensive language get banned before the hackers and permanent laggers do...if so that is Ubisoft's logic.
101459
Without going into individual cases, I would support any effort that teaches adolescents what is and is not acceptable behaviour. It's a good life lesson, in addition to combating the horrendous issues game chat lobbies have with unacceptable behaviour. In theory I agree, but: I doubt anyone without a sense of accountability and empathy is going to learn anything -- which obviates anything like 'a good life lesson', and anyone that has a sense of accountability or empathy is not going to abrogate the spirit of any sensible rules... As well, and unfortunately many of the 'lessons taught' have nothing to do with what should or shouldn't be acceptable behavior, but are more along the lines of 'Political Correctness' and an arbitrary ethnocentric world view of manners appropriateness that's as offensive to as many (or more) then it makes feel 'safe' and 'comfortable'... That said, I well understand the job of CM's and Mods is unpleasant; but to err on the side of good will, a positive outcome, and real understanding of why someone is being moderated, censored or banned should always be explicitly clear -- and Ubisoft has performed miserably in that regard. In business the Customer may not always be right, but, the Customer is always the Customer, and he or she however unpleasant is where the rubber meets the road as far as who's paying the bills... I may be mistaken but I get the sense at every turn that Ubisoft as a company has lost its way -- substantially through a lack of connection to their Customers... The notion of games as a 'High Art' of some narrative forum, onerous licensure, and fortuitous luck of having been first to a once fat revenue trough has made many in the business ridiculously arrogant and reckless with respect to a full-context view of how they really got where they are, and how tenuous that can be... WytchDokta
Banned for that? So I take it that means the player on GW2 that told me to ###### off after helping him nail a boss won't be banned. Seriously, this guy was getting his ass handed to him by the boss and was close to death. I was passing through the area and thought I'd help out because I'm like that (I'm not of the countless players who just runs past you when you're getting the ###### kicked out of you by a boss enemy, seemingly too busy going about their own business. I've been there and know what it feels like, so I figured I'd help some-one out in a tricky situation, and in return I get told to ###### off.) Tried to accuse me of 'stealing his drop' too. Funny that, seeing as loot drops are for each player (as in, looting an enemy will generate say four or five items PER PLAYER that loots the corpse - it's not like Borderlands where once one player nabs the loot, the others don't get a chance at the loot) I still had my say though, in which my tourettes by proxy was seemingly absent for some reason. I told the guy next time our paths cross and I see him getting his head kicked in by a boss again, he's on his own, and I'd just stand there beside him spamming both the Point and Laugh emote animations while he's incapped and bleeding out. What? Like for like. Edited December 16, 2012 by WytchDokta
Blame
I've read about some loot complaints in the Official GR:O forums, such as noobs getting loot instead of the "pro's"..I call that BS.
Blame
Got unbanned yesterday and guess what...I'm banned again! Ghost Recon is just dead for me, probably a good time to move on now.
RileyFletcher_01
After three times you still haven't learned to just be quiet? I mean, I realize that these moderators are knuckleheads, but maybe it would be easier on everyone if you just avoided saying anything at all if things are that volatile..... Blame
The people that Ubisoft forces me to play with are the same, every single match, its like, we're made for eachother.
RileyFletcher_01
It has a match-making system? That sucks.
Blame
In the official forums people are bragging about how this match-making system works, lower levels being put against maxed out players...hotjoins to a match that's already on the 2nd round and about to finish, especially joining the losing team.. Blame
Tried to play today after not playing for about 3-4 days because this game is like so dead and booring, when I attempted to log-in, guess what, a surprise. BANNED again and I don't even know why. This is now a big problem with this game, people are getting banned and the reason is unexplained, new patches come out like every 1-3 months and the performance is still a big pile of crap. Spike2795
I don't get why they would block people for language though. Isn't there a Profanity Filter?
Blame
There is and I don't play that crap anymore, no fun whatsoever, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has a better matchmaking system and everything is available to everyone for free once you have the game (besides all the skins - Missed a 100 dollar and a 14 dollar skin from a weapon case a week ago and just yesterday, I went berserk)
