I have three copies of the recent Arma 3 Alpha Lite version if anyone wants one. It doesn't have multiplayer or the editor but at least you can try out the single player missions. Msg me on steam (same username) if you would like one.
Thanks for the suggestions. Went with Crucial SSD, same size, less speed, but cheaper. Hopefully they can process it all quick and get it to me so I can start the build.
@Cpl Ledanek: I think I'm good at the moment. I have an old PCI graphics card that I'll use when I move these old parts over to another case.
Is thermal compound OK to use after extended periods of time? I have some old Arctic Silver compound (5 years old probably) that I covered and put away for later use. Doesn't it try out though?
Here's what I'm thinking:
Current parts (I already have these):
Antec 900 Case (I don't have the USB 3.0 version, just the older one):

Only gaming. I was thinking about going the SSD route for the operating system. Budget, hmm, that's tough. Probably less than $1200. I have an Antec 900 case, power supply, and EVGA Geforce 560 ti that I will be reusing so that's good.
I need to build a new computer. Are there any new pieces of hardware coming out soon that I should consider waiting for? I know with technology you can never win as things always are getting cheaper and faster but just curious...
This is a good strategy. Arma 2 is pretty much dead now that they (probably?) won't be releasing any more DLC. Arma 3 is the next platform so they can just give it away and build up the community until it comes out.
Seriously, watch the video. At first I was like, oh, they're making the next one, neat. Then I was like.... huh????

It's an interesting idea but I think it would drive people crazy. Essentially, it would try to encourage team play. However, wouldn't it be price discrimination which is illegal? (IANAL)
The reason it says that is because you can add a parameter to the shutdown command to turn it off after a certain amount of time. Useful if you want to give users logged in a few minutes to save their work before being booted.
Kinda reminds me of a thing I saw awhile back where someone found out their neighbor was using their wireless Internet. Instead of just shutting it down, he got creative...
