Ive got a flash bang in GR and have done ever since I had max. It doesnt do ANY damage and works on AI and MP games and was really cool. Got there way before ya! Good job any way. If you want my prj file PM me.

Does anyone still have this ".prj" file? Others mentioned it was avaiable in the NMM's Rainbow Op's mod.

Any plans on making a version that isn't dependent upon Navy Seals 2.1?

EDIT: Just tried the flashbangs on the Castle map. I have to say, thanks a lot Burner. The CQB experience has changed for the better. Nothing makes me happier than being able to FINALLY clear buildings without the hassle of getting shot by an immediate threat.

If Wombat can, it would be great if you added the icons to the vanilla version as well

I created a master download including flashbangs for vanilla GR with expansions, CENTCOM, SEALS V2, CAPD, FROSTBITE, and BLOODOIL which can be downloaded here.....

Just wanted to throw this in there for ARMA 2..

Finally got Flashbangs to work in ARMA 2. Could it have something to do with ACEOA instead of ACE? Absolutely.
ACE flaashbangs work perfectly against human players but dont seem to effect AI.......however ACEOA flashbangs effect the A.I. so that's perfect!
If you are using the ACEOA, add this code without the quotes to the initialization line of your player unit or AI unit: "(unitBackpack this) addMagazineCargo ["ACE_Flashbang",X];" or
If no backpack is present simply "addMagazineCargo ["ACE_Flashbang",X];" with X = the number of flashbangs wanted.
ARMA 3 also has a flashbang found here:
"this addmagazines["SUPER_flash",5] "

Yes, I would love to have Flashbangs.  Trying to capture or rescue hostages is so much harder with only a gun.  Because sometimes the guard literary has his weapon targeted at the entrance.  There is no way to beat him to the draw.  If you cannot nail him through a window, it is a hopeless situation.

Actually, tear gas would be nice too.

One nice thing in GR, they never seem to shoot the hostages or blow themselves and the hostages up.

Place in your C:\Ghost Recon\Mods folder and activate in the settings as usual.
This mod should have a higher priority than Navy SEALs, Frostbite, Heros Unleashed etc..

Did you test with HUb8?  I cannot find the Flashbangs.

I was able to get Flashbangs with some editing.

I changed a path:

rifleman -> ghost_r

And cloned HU "frag" kits.  Changing frag.prj to flash.prj and count=12.  Naming the kits with "flash" instead of "frag".  This seemed to work.

I have tested that they don't kill me, but I have not tested them yet storming a room.

Yes I have tested the flashbangs in HU. These replace all sensor kits with flashbangs (Apologies, I didnt change the sensor picture in the load out screen). You shouldnt have to make any changes.

This is HUb8?  As there are no sensor kits for the stock HUb8?

I also needed to tweak additional files to provide specialist rifleman with Flashbang kits.  It seems to work now.  If you are interested, I can email you what I did.  It is a 7Mb zip.

Hmmmm..... I probably have an older version of Heros Unleashed. Has it changed that much? The sensors were removed huh?

I see sensor kits every forth weapon for rifle specialist in HU.

Yes I would love it if you sent me your updated file and I can include it to the master download. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

EDIT: The last release for b8 was in Sep 28th, 2012.....so I know I have the current version. Can anyone else comment if they have the flashbangs working in HU?
