I've heard that if you use a UK VPN, then make a new account at ghostrecononline.uk.ubi.com, activate your account, and then log in you should be able to download the cleint and play. I haven't tried it myself though. Also even if it does work, you will probably have high ping if you don't live close to the UK servers. That should work, but you will probably have major lag issues. I don't know if the game servers themselves verify IP locations but the website to redeem your key does.

Looks like the only thing stopping it is the fact that the one folder already exists. If I were you I'd find that folder, zip it up and move it somewhere else as backup, then delete the folder and try running it again. Not sure why it would stop completely after seeing the folder there, it would make more sense for the program to just, yanno, skip that step instead..

The game launcher relies on it.

Just talk to Ubisoft support, include the key CVG gave you, and they'll give you a new replacement. I got a bad key from CVG too and got my key a few hours later. The closed beta ends on Monday, but one of the staff said on the official forum that there was going to be another CB phase before open beta.
