Well this happened to me moments ago: Some canadians testing a new rocket launcher. Why not have a little thread where you can post those miscallanous military pics you find. F-16 Afterburner Low Level Acceleration... F-111 Dump and Burn Daylight- Raw fuel is dumped staight into the Afterburner (Reheat Zone) and thus a nice Flame is generated.... F-111 Burner Low High Speed Pass- ectoplasm caused by Jet approaching Sound Barrier.... F-15C from USAF based in Kadena, Japan Turning and Burning. Eagle doing it's thing... WhiteKnight77 Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 This F-15 is from Langley AFB in VA, most likely the 1st Tactical Fighter Wing. Pops was stationed there with the 48th TIS. Retired in 76. He still lives in the area (bout 7 miles from Ft. Useless (Eustis). Yes, I have seen the ones from Kadena too. I used to hang out down near the end of the runway to try and take pics of the SR-71.
