rougie29
When I try to go to the multiplayer menu, it says connecting.... Then it takes me back to the title screen and says "Internet Connection lost you've been returned to the title screen" I checked my firewall, even tried updating punkebuster manually. Nothing. Help me. Please. Now. Jesus.
Zeealex
nice avatar... have you tried port forwarding the game's port? i believe these are the ports you need to open on your router:GRFS Ports:TCP: 80, 1001, 1002, 2346UDP:10007, 15765, 24340, 24360Uplay Launcher:TCP: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200this site will be a good guide for opening the ports, select your router model, then select "Ghost Recon Future Soldier" and it'll give you the guide to forward the ports required
rougie29
What is your recommended method for forwarding ports? I'm not very experienced in that area...
Zeealex
what make and model number is your router? it should say on a little sticker on the back or bottom of it

Zeealex
okay this guide should be the one you need the router's username is "admin" and the password is "password" Use this guide to find your static IP address, the one you normally need is the DNS IP which is most commonly 192.168.0.1, or 192.169.1.1, it'll normally say that on the back of the router on a sticker too. from there, you can follow this guide it's pretty straight forward from there. i had to do the same thing on my router to get the game to connect, if it still doesn't connect, make sure the other person has their ports open too. rougie29
Damn, forwarded the ports and still nothing..... Very frustrating. Any other ideas?
Zeealex
I'd take it up with ubisoft support from here, explain the situation, make sure you tell them that the GRFS ports ARE open, you've manually updated punkbuster, and you've checked your firewall, make it very clear or they'll just give you generic answers. Zeealex
XD it could be that someone here has a better Idea, but I don't want to be giving you any solutions that I'm not completely sure of, like I said, port forwarding worked for myself and a couple of friends who just bought the game Edited February 25, 2014 by Zeealex
