  1. So just do all of that in my own mod's sound folder and it will replace the origmiss ones?
  2. So is there a way where I can replace the ingame chatter, "Kill confirmed." "He's history." "We've got a casualty." etc with my own recorded voice-overs? I've thought about getting myself and two other friends to do our own battle chatter, how hard would that be to replace after recording and mixing the voices?
  3. How do I add my own sound effects into my mission in igor? I have taken a couple of sounds from Call of Duty 4 and rendered them as .wav files but I do not see them under the Sounds tab where it shows all of them. I could be putting them in the wrong place maybe. Thanks, Scorch. p.s. I talked to a couple of you several months ago when I registered on GR.net then dissappeared off the face of the earth for a while. Sorry about that, I'm back
  4. Okay so I got my squad to go from green to tan on origmiss maps. I still haven't figured out getting friendly US soldiers to be tan, and having the enemies be green US soldiers or vise versa.
  5. Yeah I'd love to. I need to move the finished mission I have into it's own folder because I've put a lot of my broken and unfinished work in there. Once I get the hang of this (which I'm starting to at this point) I'd like to post my stuff for the public. Right now I'm waiting for a friend of mine to record the briefing for me on my finished one and then it will be good to go. As for my other work, I'm trying out a Green vs Tan army men mission and I'm also wanting to do a campaign based on a war series I did in high school and put on YouTube. The title 'Claiming Liberty' sounds familiar, I think I might have downloaded it at one time, I'll re-add it and see.
  6. Might not be the correct place to post this but nonetheless it has had me stumped for months now. Is there a way to turn the regular US army actors from green camouflage to tan (DS uniform) and vise versa? For example, if I'm using the MP05_Docks map, all US army and specialist troops wear the woodland uniform regardless. If the map is from a DS mission, they all wear the desert uniform regardless. I'm trying to find a way to have both on the same map for a Green vs Tan army men campaign I'm starting. Thanks -Scorch
  7. Got it, thanks! And thank you, I've been a long time player of GR ever since it first came out. Hell, it was my first shooter. I entered the modding game very late always wanting to make my own missions until I discovered IGOR. Found a tutorial that taught me the basics and the rest I've been learning from trial and error (until now) and ended up completing a mission. Looking forward to getting acquainted now that I've finally joined the community!
  8. How do I program a piece of music to play when my mission starts up? Thanks! -Scorch
