  1. I got the game for Christmas and I must say WOW! The gameplay is very intence and memorable. I can say that it didn't last long enough, but I can simply replay it on a higher difficulty. MP is a blast and runs on my 56k quite well. I do notice alot of snipers but now that I'm playing on a server that has a realism mod up (Server side mod) everything is fine. A must get game
  2. Well one thing alot of people don't know is that alot of the meat from a cow can not infect you. Material from the nervous system and brain contain the BSE and there is very little chance that muscle meats (no bone in it) will contain the Nerous system/brain matter. So if you worried about getting BSE (and if you do you won't know for a number of years anyways) just stay away from the meat with bones in it (althought they can be just as safe) and eat the muscle meats. Also, milk is still ok to drink (yes, I've heard people say they will never drink milk again because of BSE). The only thing I don't like about this second cow with BSE (other then the cow having it in the first place) is that US investigators have already started to point the fingure at Canada. From what I've learned about the case (From news and cattle industry updates via E-mail from Cattle assosiations) is that so far only very little has shown that the cow may be from Canada. The export ear tag was found to be Canadian and in 24 hours the tag was tracked to a closed far (not bad for a cow exported a number of years ago and being one of millions). This does not mean the cow was born in Canada just that it was exported to the US from Canada. I'm sure this will all be cleared up when the DNA test is finished.
  3. As a Canadian Farmer with 75 head of cattle and having to go through the Canadian "Single Mad Cow Scare" I would have to say I feel for the US. That one cow could really screw up the US economy. I heard that the US cattle industry is worth 175 Billion Dollars. Thats quite abit of Money. My suggestion to the US public is to simply keep eating your beef and support the farmers. Without them your country wouldn't be as great as it is now and they deserve atleast for you to try and keep things the way they were. It might be a hard couple of months or even years but soon things will work themselves out.
  4. I just use mine for small things. A picture, word document, small computer game, and the like. With that said though I'll be lucky if I use the FDD once or twice a month. I belive FDD's and FD's will continue to be used till the small "Pen Drives" are much more affordable (I know I can't but one right now).
  5. Personaly I just take the M15 w/M203, wait till the spammers are done nade spamming and then move up and take them out with one M203 grenade.
  6. Its a good game if you got a joy stick and like old WW2 planes. Just make sure you get IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles as thats the newest IL-2 Sturmovik released and thats what everyone here is playing. @Tex: The B-17 in the new patch? I've heard the B-17's are tough mothers and I guess IL-2 got it right
  7. Anyone have anything to say about this? Oh yeah, bump
  8. Don't LA Officals have better things to do, like say running the city?
  9. Even though a BHD mod wouldn't be a great thing to make you can still create a Middle East mod. There so many things that you could makeup that would be fun that there shouldn't be any reason to stop the mod. Keep it up!!
  10. ######, how do you get so much detail in such a small space!! Very nice model you got there SF, you should be very proud of it
  11. Alien Vs. Predator (both) were scary enough as they were, no need to bring more music into it
  12. What gives you this idea? Of course you can't damage a CD-ROM in a normal CD player. It's the same thing besides that it isn't connected to a computer that can decode data. I just pefer to cover all my bases
  13. 110's? Not yet, I'll have to give them a go
  14. I'm still playing Il-2: FB ( ) and have found a new love with the P-40M 1942
  15. Alpha mapping has more to do with Photoshop, they are just applied to to model in Max. That model does look good, but for some reason that flashlight looked alittle thin to me...but hey maybe thats just me. Its hallow thing covering the barral protecting it and stoping you from burning yourself/other stuff if you overheat the barral.
