I never had a conversation with him on the forums, but by reading his posts he's helped me solve scripting issues and inspire me in my mods. I loved his mods, especially Band of Brothers. Probably the guy most in touch with him was Giweda who also has appeared to have left the GR scene Check out the interview with him if you haven't seen it yet: http://www.ghostrecon.net/html/jack57.htm When he said he went on "sabbatical" from GR, he never came back - sure didn't help that GR2 PC was cancelled. I'm sure he has since moved on to greener pastures, but I'm equally sure he would be pleased to hear that his mods have inspired you.
