RileyFletcher_01 Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) TACTICAL OPERATIONS SQUADRON I've been gathering players on GameRanger to get together and do some co-op missions. Being the creative and annoying person I am, I wanted to make a clan and get a fair-sized group together. My main goal is to get a group of people who enjoy playing the game tactically and with coordination, rather than running through the missions Rambo-style and dying twenty times a la GRAW. I know I posted about this a long time ago and got no interest, and most of you are too busy to play, but if you are interested, post here, e-mail me, PM me, or visit the site here: http://tacticalopsquad.webs.com/ If you aren't interested, but somebody else you know is, point them in this direction. I know there are very few Ghost Recon 1 players here lately, but I'd like to try this anyway. If you want some more info, check out the site. We've gotten several new recruits over the past few weeks and we're only one man short of a full nine-man platoon. This means that the TOS is ready for the tournament with a full 6-man competition team. If you're interested in joining an elite team of coordinated players, check out our site, enlist in the TOS, and get a chance to face off some highly skilled clans in the GR.net Team vs Team tourney. We're centered around slow, cautious, and coordinated movement. If you don't have the patience to stay in a formation for long periods of time this may be a bit boring to you. If you're interested, you might download GameRanger and hop in a match with us sometime -- the majority of us are usually online around 6PM CST or 12PM CST on weekends. If you like how things go after you've played some, we'll get you signed up and in the roster. I'm going to have to start another fireteam with all these new recruits lol. Teppe was the first member, and he started out at E-4 Corporal if I recall correctly. Then we had Oelmuvun joining as E-1 Private, and eventually Morpheus23 joining as E-7 Sergeant First Class. We would always lose about nine missions and win one, maybe a bit worse on our bad days Now we have ten members and two recruits in-training and I'm still impressed at how much we've grown over the last eight months. Things have changed so much from the ranking structure to our gamestyle, and we almost never lose a mission now (unless those stupid Peacekeepers decide to walk into enemy fire ). It seems like you can't play anywhere if you aren't part of a clan (either for tournies or on passworded clan servers) and TOS seems like an active group. I mostly play with Heroes Unleashed but OGR is fine too, as are many other mods. Don't know how good I am... I'm great at playing against the AI in firefight and such, but thats not necessarily representative of multiplayer ability, and I've never really played multiplayer.
