Blue Eagle

Hi All,

Blue Eagle v1 is now ready for first beta.

The map layout is a bit different for this one, if you look at the pic below you will see it's of a circular design, you can play this in either direction going clockwise or anticlockwise.

Please play the mission as indicated, when you start there is only one objective available so you must complete this task first, after that the choice is yours as to how you want to complete the mission.

New feature:

I have now perfected the vehicle's exiting buildings feature, there was one of these in my last mission as a test but this is now working as it should.

To implement this feature a new design of building was required (pics below) two of which are in this mission.

New buildings:

There are three new buildings in this mission which are all new and my design, two of these I have mentioned above, these are a tank depot and a panhard/pickup depot.

Also in this mission is a USA Embassy, this building was quite complex to make and took a while to complete so I hope you like it.

Hi John,

Tried this one on hard and had no issues whatsoever. All of the vehicles came out of their "houses" just fine. Everything worked perfectly. I really like the American Embassy .... but the wall paper MUST go!! You do realize that even the implication that we Americans could have such poor taste could start and International incident!?!? :o=:nono:

we finished the mission, but I ran into an error, I think.

at the "data centre" when you found the codes then the red bars are not disappearing from the entry doors. u can walk though them though.

not sure about this because i died from an explosion walking through and then the others cleared the mission and we went to the extraction door.

Thanks for the replies.

@Rahn, for some reason I get the impression that you folks across the pond do not appreciate our/my taste in the finest quality British wallpaper. I'll have you know this is the best that money can buy so I'm a bit taken aback that you don't like it. :harhar:;)

@lamp, once you have found the security codes you will be able to switch the lasers off by walking up to the security lock next to the door and pressing "x", you should see a "Press X..." message on the screen.

Was playing in match alongside other BH members and at one point early on (cant remember exact area) I went into one of the buildings, looked out a window and a Tango was outside the map pointing his gun inward to the fence. Area where we cant get to.

Easy kill,but thought you should know.

If I see exact area again will pinpoint it for you, otherwise mate, another brilliant map, and as far as I am concerned you can put porn babes on the wall if you want......you will never please everybody will you...lol. ?

We also found one of the tangos outside the map. graw2_2012_05_12_22_19_19_583.jpg

He was next to the first tower on the right from where we start the map.

Hope this will help you locate where he is.

Thanks for testing.

Looks like I have placed that bot to close to the fence so he is spawning the wrong side, I'll get him moved.

cjo1964, like your idea of having porn babes on the building walls, problem is you folks would be to busy looking at them to play the mission. :lol:

I was playing the map (which is a lot of fun BTW) with some guys and we saw a weird looking tree. When going to the building leading to the data core, if you face that building and look right, the tree has purple bark. Really weird.

Hey CJ,

Yeah long time no see :rocky: .

I have been playing TDM for quite a while and playing other games as well.

And yep, I haven't been on the BH server anymore, but that's a long story and not really interesting.

TDM is not anymore what it used to be, so I switched back to Coop because that's still fun and the maps are still very interesting to play especially with the new features which John puts in the maps each time.

Even though I play other games as well, I keep coming back to GRAW 2 :o=

Remove other (bundled) missions from the Custom Mission folder, as textures from GRAW1 based maps tend to screw up the trees... e.g. the purple bark.
