Rocky
This was created by jeff miller (RedRepublik) for the cover of Ghost Recon Wii. You can view more of his (most excellent) game art at TheNewRed.com
Operative
The pic is great, but there's (as always) something wrong. The Kriss is a exotic weapon. The magazine, facing "backward" is really lower than the "gripod" (to be exactly, the bipod section of the forward grip). So, you cannot put the weapon on the ground . Of course, you can put it in other surfaces, where the magazine wouldn't touch it. Well, thinking some more, you can put it on the ground, but you would be limited to aiming down only
krise madsen
I can imagine a few old Ghosts going "Red Square? Pfft, been there, done that"

Operative
I noticed the heli in the background. Looks like a mutant chinook (and I was really answering to you, lol) Edited March 20, 2011 by Operative
krise madsen
Looks like some sort of made-for-the-game tilt rotor thingie. Also, exactly what good is a bipod on a compact .45 ACP submachinegun anyway?
Zeealex
XD looks like the big shuttle thing off avatar crossed with a chinhook. and thanks operative @krise sometimes it can be convenient to have one especially when you are under heavy fire and you have a window pane or a flat surface for cover. instead of having the bipod seperate they decided to attach it to the front grip so you werent fiddling about trying to get the bipod back into position if you needed to move quickly say because sniper was zeroing in on you or you were under too much fire, you can just grab the front grip and move on i guess.i noticed the chest peice hasnt changed other than the colour since GRAW. krise madsen
Yeah, but we're talking about a pistol-caliber weapon with rather limited ballistics. It seems to make as much sense as mounting a 10x sniper scope..
Zeealex
well i was just literally saying the reason off the top of my head i guess it has a reason of some sort. maybe because it of it's role on the feild you need to have it really manuverable and if you find yourself resting it on a hard surface your movement will be limited and slower than having a bipod wich helps with quicker movement who designed the Kriss anyway? Hammer
I noticed the heli in the background. Looks like a mutant chinook (and I was really answering to you, lol) perhaps its Ubi's vision of Boeings JCAL project Baised on the C27
Pave Low
What the hell is that chopper thing???? It's concept art for a future Special Forces Close Air Support "Attack Cargo" aircraft based around a tilt-rotor version of the AC-130 Gunship
Zeealex
woah! i do think they are going a little overkill with the tech now but hey. so long as they still have AK74s SAWs and old school weapons i'm happy.
Operative
Now I see the rotors are aligned to the sides of the chopper, not fore and backward xD Having that glowing thing in your face helps while you are hiding and trying to be stealth? Zeealex
haha too true operative, i suppose there is nothing wrong in turning it off if you are in that situation. and wouldnt the constant bright light in your eye cause eye sight problems, which, last time i checked where a soldiers worst enemy? Cpl Ledanek
I going to give this a go with our Wii, using the Wii remote as a pistol/rifle will satisfy my thirst to get PS3 Shooter. Just gotta find a RedBox that rents it.
