And even in just testing stages, try to keep a text file in there with the credits, easy to forget something, and maybe someone will help by mentioning it is missing. The use of idling actors animations where a nice touch. Overall thought it was a fantastic job so far! Look forward to playing it in coop. Oh and you might want to look at the rocket check also. Retexturing is really great job, and I like the enemies weapons, it's not any longer kalashnikovs. About the cinematics, if you wan't to hear my suggestions, I think you should use cinemas in some missions (like where the briefing tells more precise about enemy troops). Btw did you actually run out of rockets or did your guys get killed? Ill get right on fixing that stuff you think you could pm me instead next time though? MrMoon Posted February 3, 2013 Author Share Posted February 3, 2013 It is a beautiful map with lots of space and various themes, I had wanted to script a mission for it for a long time sadly however it has given me a little grief. I repeatedly got very slow frame rates and at other times it refused to start the mission at all. I'm assuming this is because of the massive size and detail. In order to stop the damn thing crashing Ive been forced to reduce the number of actors/vehicles on the map and remove all hidden actors I had previously placed. I remember playing with a guy on HU mod, and he showed me the map, wait, I donno if it actually was Cartel, I think so, a tower on some cliffs near the beach.Anyways, oh yeah, I remember that Fletcher.
