BlackenedJEM Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Hiya Folks!!!! I was wondering if there are any GOOD female multiplayer mods for the original game. If not, can somebody make one? Here's what I am looking for...... The mod would have to be about to make a female avatar that is compatible with all the skins of the game and all the expansion packs. Example: If you are playing Island Thunder set on Blue and Red skins with random teams, you could pick the female player with a demo class and end up with an avatar that matches both American skins and Cuban. There doesn't have to be different skins for every class. If you pick either a female rifleman or demo and end up with an American skin, you'd be Lindy Cohen for both classes. If you'd end up on a Russian team, you'd be Astra Galinsky for all classes. If you ended up with the Russian Gold skin, you'd be Astra with the matching uniform. If you end up with an African skin, you'd be Jodiet Haile. Again, She would have to match all of the different skins for all the African colors. The Cuban is a little trickier. You'd have to put Jodiet Haile's head on each skin of Cuban uniforms. It's sort of hard to explain so I hope i am making sense. I am NOT looking to make all players female. You should have the option to be a male or female so we can all fight together in harmony, haha. I'd like the voices to match the gender too. If you (as a female) would say "At All Costs", it would be a female voice. The death scream is a female scream. With me and my friends trying to make this, I've noticed that sometimes you get hit and you hear a female scream but the others hear a male scream coming from you. Or you die screaming like a man (which is actually pretty funny). The more I looked into making a mod like this, I realized that it would be a big mod. Bigger than I originally planned. There are female multiplayer mods out there but they are not good. They have it set up in the order that I mentioned but if you choose a female rifleman, it's always Lindy Cohen, a female sniper is always Astra Galinsky, a female support is always Jodiet Haile, ect. You keep these skins no matter what team you are put on. So if you pick a female rifleman and put on a Russian team, you'll still be Lindy Cohen in an American uniform. Can you see why this is a problem? It would be fine if we were playing Co-op but it doesn't work when playing teams. Also, I have not found one that works with Island Thunder maps. Thank you for reading all of this. This mod may be out there (I really hope it is, haha). Even if you can't do it, please give me advise on doing it or even telling me if it's possible. At the bottom of this post, I enclosed the link to the mod that I mentioned. You may be able to use it to make the females play with the guys. Remember, it doesn't work for Island Thunder and the skins don't match all the colors of multiplayer. But, you may be able to get files from it. RileyFletcher_01 Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 I think it would be impossible to get the skins to show up according to race, e.g. for DS maps have Jodit Haile on the team and for IT games have another character. Didn't use that mod you linked to, I don't use other peoples' work because I'd have to get permission and I like the way I do stuff better I tested it in game without DS and IT and with DS and IT active and it worked fine. I'll PM it to you, so start your server once you get it. Make sure you run the Female MP Actors mod at highest priority over any other mods. Oh, and I registered your new name on the DK-F server. Try not to change your name too often and stick to just 1. That is a really cool mod but it's still not exactly what I am looking for. The "Even Uniforms Range" has an all female team. We are trying to get females and males to be able to play together. Like you'd be able to pick a male or female rifleman and the skins match all 12 original multiplayer uniforms. This way it doesn't change the original multiplayer but it just adds females into it. BTW - Heroes Unleashed multiplayer restrictions "Specialists", "Joint Force", and "Total Cooperation" offer the four female Ghost members Astra Galinski, Jodit Haile, Lindy Cohen, and Susan Grey as playable MP characters among male colleagues (e.g. Joint Force and Total Cooperation feature more than 30 characters per team to choose from). The trouble is that we have a few (really skilled) women players and I feel bad that they're stuck with manly avatars. I grabbed the "Female MP Players" mod you posted near the top of the thread BlackenedJEM, and see it's drawbacks as you've aptly mentioned. Would you be so kind to share the mod you guys had made?
