I am and have been a supporter and a big fan of the series from the very start but this game has now reached its limit....forget the weak and repetitive objectives, forget the ridiculous AI, forget the constant video interruptions from Martin....you can even forget the cartoon color schemes.......BUT FOR CHRIST SAKE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FRAME RATE..!!!!! Choppy graphics, bullet Lag and the worst character movements in a video game I have ever seen......has anyone else noticed the cross hairs jumping all over the screen? Trust me, I'm not a big 1st person shooter fan but Call of Duty 4 has raised the bar as far as overall gaming fidelity goes, 60 frames per second smooth as butter game play......nothing else comes close. I hope the next installment of this series can do something to restore some credibility to this great gaming franchise.....!!! Frustrated GR fan.

Can anyone comment on the new Co-op missions.....are they any good....any details before I download? Thanx

I really thought we in the UK and elsewhere would be missing out on AA. the demo came out at 3am looks like they are are ashamed of it, probably it will just turn up in the shops. No wonder they kept so quite about it. usually a game gets hyped months before. it reminds me of movie licensed games they are usually crippled in some way. guess the US Army had to much of a say in the design of the game. after all its a recruitment tool aint it? The fact that you can't seem to get instant kills strikes me as kinda weird if not stupid. The US Army has some pretty decent weapons and they don't kill? Talk about a anti-climax AA is possibly the single worst game to ever hit the 360 marketplace......I cannot even start to sum up how poor this effort at a game is.......I'll end now!!!

The game is only run and gun on Team Deathmatch etc.....if you played the Beta and did not play Search and Destroy (no respawns) you would not know that this game is tactical and as slow or as fast paced as you make it. GR would be my game of choice also, but lets face it the slow frame rate and choppy graphics are a little behind these new titles. I'm a big big fan of Ghost Recon, and have played it on Xbox since GR and GRIT. I think GRAW has gotten away from the "better" formula. I like the GRAW series, but prefer the "feel" of GR and GRIT. Seeing the new "old" maps is wonderful. On to the COD4, I'm more hyped about this game than any game coming out this year. The Beta was all I played, while it was available. Team Deathmatch... yeah same old run and gun like Halo3 or any other twitch fest shooters on Xbox360. Search and Destroy, no respawns is where its at. The rounds were only 5 mins, but they seemed much longer. This game blew me away. I wasn't expecting much, after being heavily dissappointed in COD2 and COD3's multiplayer. If you think the COD4's multiplayer will be like COD2 or COD3's you are sorely mistaken. The lobbies are very functional now, and it plays online, as smooth as butter. No Respawns... yep COD4 is going to rock! I could not have said it better myself.....I think the only problem this game is gonna have is the bad taste that previous COD titles have left. COD4 Modern Warfare is gonna be the biggest and best game out on xbox 360 this and probably next year..!! The new Hardcore mode (no respawns, no health regeneration, no HUD, increased bullet damage).....its gonna rock..!!! I just hope that the GR series can get back on track and get back to what made this series great...tactical game play...!!!

No not yet, keep your eyes on the Marketplace as its likely to just turn up. Has there been a date mentioned or are we just guessing early November?

As far as I understand from reading the preview is that they will all be available for all modes....nice!!!!

You're right....especially if you like being able to shoot while falling 3 stories out of a building and NOT dying, no mention of the use of any kind of tactics, having to deal with immature idiots so much that you feel like you're back in the fourth grade....yeah. You're 100% correct! lol.......My point is that GR needs a significant overhaul in the engine department to compete with such titles like COD4.....cool your jets....I love GR as much as the next guy but please do not tar all COD gamers with the same immature brush. If you played COD4 (beta) and played the Search and Destroy game mode (no respawns) then you would know that this game has some serious potential. I am not bashing GR's game play just its frame rate issues.

I think it mentions a September release date....maybe a bit rushed..? If they would have announced this for an 08 release date maybe with more time for development and not just a direct copy (use of the same features and functions) of GRAW then maybe people would feel less like we are gonna be on the receiving end of another Ubi quick cash project. I play GRAW2 almost every night and its fun...but its not what I wanted......team work and tactics, the feeling of actually having to work with other players to achieve a goal is missing. You can be very successful playing GRAW or GRAW2 as a lone gunner, RAMBO style!! It says tactical shooter on the box.....but inside the tactics are missing!

3rd person did not spoil the GR games.....it is an easy way out and most people who state this love the [GR] game.....so go and play it!! As far as I know you can still play the [GR]. I hate the small maps, I hate the dumbed down style and poor attempt at tactical situations in the co-op missions, I hate the run and gun players.........but I will not blame it on 3rd person view. Personally I am looking forward to COD4 Modern Warfare......why not, nothing else is even worth playing right now!!!
