  1. On Mission 2 I take three teams of 2. Place one at each of the rock paths covering the one opposite), and one behind the coyote facing rear. Set them to suppress and swap among them picking off tangos as they appear. Lots of Command Map watching. The trick is not to climb those rock paths. If you do then every tango on the map attacks and you get smackered all over the place. If you don't try to leave the valley they seem to trickle in real slow. I thought all the missions were outsanding (some of the best ever) right up until the one on RS Chalet (THE best ever and makes Mission 2 seem like a cakewalk!). After that the missions felt sort of half assed and unfinished. Didn't like them at all. CO2 is still in my top 3 favorite mods of all time
  2. Fourth and Goal isn't that hard once you know how it works. When you enter the chalet you trigger two timers. A short timer on the hostages (timed till execution & fail) and a longer one on the nuke (timed till detonation & fail). 1. Neutralise the hostage timer by killing the guys closest to them and controlling that room. Best to breach with two teams (one through the windows, one through the main doors) so you can hit all four walls at once. The OBJ is only complete when all tangos are dead, but the timer is irrelevant if you've got guns in there. If you leave them alone someone will wander by and cap them so beware! 2. Neautralise the nuke timer by finding it, killing the guys, and picking it up. I have found four rooms so far that he shows up in. Once you know where they are you can use your sensors to make an educated guess and cut through to them pretty quickly. Its an awesome adrenalin mission! Stealthy and slow for OBJ1 and OBJ2, and super fast for OBJ3 and 4. Anyone else with working strats for it?
  3. I cheated and checked the script becuase I had the same problem. To get the specialist you cant kill more than 5 guys and thats impossible if you set off the alarm. The alarm sounds if an enemy fires, a patrol finds a body or a patrol finds an open door (wow!). In the subpen with the mafioso its different. They can shoot without setting off the alarm but the alarm will go off in 30 seconds unless you kill everyone there. Something else thats cool is that if your nuke carrying guy gets killed, you can send someone else to pick up the case and carry on. I love this scripting!
  4. Okay, I have to have another guess because I'm intrigued, and I can't help it... Rocky said that co-op is basically thinking within the box so: To make a dynamic campaign you need to be reading some kind of mission output and the only output source I know of is the missionstat.html... So I'm guessing that you're making an SP campaign that you play through the listen (MP) server. Mission results are generated to missionstat.html and then interpreted by the Dynacomp app [Way possible, as loads of stats are available including the status of all the actors at mission end]. It's the app that holds your avatar data and allows you to make your RPG selections before serving them to GR MP for play. DynaComp is the name of the app? I'm probably way off, but that could work too
  5. This sounds very interesting. I thought dynamic campaigns in GR were impossible as you can't generate mission "results" that can be read by an external app (DCG for IL2 as an example). Or can you? I'd have thought that you'd have to offer a score or a code of some sort that the user would manually input into an external that'd decompress and install the next mission? But that would suck, as anyone with IGOR could check the script and cheat ahead... Can't wait to see how you've managed it. Cool concept
  6. Mission 2 was amazing and tho I beat it I'm going to hang around and play it some before moving on. Who'd have thunk you could do that with GR? Amazing Bajabravo. Great mod!
  7. Apologies if this has been covered, but I was wondering if there were any essential (or just handy) plug-ins I'd need to MOD GR with MAX 5. Other than the RSE plug-ins and Javamans tools of course. I just bought it, and I'd like to give modding a try.
  8. I'd like to see a "CT Ops" restriction that limits projectile explosives for indoor and urban areas (GL spamming indoors is lame). Perhaps skin the restriction with black/blue ninja-suit type operators.
  9. To the exact ToS story as shown? Or to movies concept in Nigeria? Or just SEALs in general wherever? How much time is there to script before release?

  11. I got a P4 2.4 with an FX5900 Ultra and 512MB DDR400 and I noticed FPS spikes that dropped down to about 30FPS on max detail. Still a great map though. Makes you wonder where this guy has been all this time!

  13. Thanks CK Have you thought about creating an MP restriction for the winter set? That way you can keep the three default environments while still having an MP set for Frostbite? Perhaps a pair of Clickteam installers filled with ATR's to change the offline skins from the default to winter and back again?
