Install the new latest ati driver and it will be gone. I only get other problems now:P

It didn't work I tried disable everything and take everything to low, still the same problem I get the exact same message and crash but I also get it in sigle player mode vista home premium, 2 gig memory ati radeon x800GT

Overheating? No it isn't. first of all it happens too early in the game. Next to that when I check the temp it's only 59! My graphics card used to handle much more. also since I have vista I haven't tried to overclock the videocard, so why would it overheat if I don't ask for it?

Nope it isn't a Direct X problem. All problems with that result in a error message. Next to that, I have Dx 9 and 10 installed. So anyone some ideas?

No I am not going to adept like you are proposing. The game states: windows vista OR xp. So I have vista. sounds works perfect with my onboard soundcard. Not willing to pay for a new one. also the sound in the game works. And my video card? I'm fine with it. It's a gt from club 3d. I can run far cry in the highest settings without problems. I am waiting for the first next videocard to release. Next to that, al my systems specs even pass the recommend specs. Isn't it normal to expect the game to work then? I did found something maybe. Windows vista tells me I have direct x 10 installed. But my video card only supports till direct x 9. I am now going to deinstall it and reinstall Dx 9. If it works, you hear from me, and if not please come up with a solution anyone:P

Ok, first I thought I had sound problems. But I don't. The game just freezes sometimes. When I shoot, zoom, look around etc. It's totally random, sometimes i can shoot, or zoom but then suddenly an other time it causes to freeze. and give me wide white strokes (horizontal) flickering on the screen. When I get out of the game a while (alt +tab) and get back in it works fine till the next freeze. it also happens when everything is set to low (sound and video) Specs: 3ghz dualcore ati radeon x800 2 gig mem Vista. It's the retail version!!! I am talking about. Please come up with a solution. Where can I go to for "official" help? Or is this the original forum (with origional I mean from the producers..). EDIT 2, When played in windowed mode, it isn't possible to let the game resume using alt tab. EDIT 3, It isn't really a freeze, coz I can still walk around and should, press esc etc..
