ROCO*AFZ* Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 An old tactic i used to use for cheaters especially if team killing had punishment was to switch to the cheaters side and run in front of him standing at point blank so he would kill me. after 3 times team killing me (depending on servers setting) he would get booted and all was good with the world. I used that a lot for people that used aim bot. I can only imagine how mad he got with me in his face not letting him shoot. I have been on a server that worked like you say, that server was not very popular and most of the players were all cheaters, I just stopped playing there. The one I play on tries to keep cheating down, but, as you know, that sometimes is hard to detect. I just leave the server when it has a player that has an unusual large amount of kills and suspect they are using aimbot. I do enjoy playing the game tho I haven't developed the skills to be as good as the top players. Most of the time, I am in the middle as far as kills go...Thanks for you input... Just wanted to let you know that my game has improved some and I do compete with most of the players, just cannot compete with the better ones, like Rahnman and Cybercyd. I am now using the mrc weapon more, not using the m99 as much, except in certain circumstances. I still don't have answers to those players that kill with one shot using the mrc from any place and distance. There are regular players that do this and I am certain they have some kind of assistance. There are a few players that are really good but they don't kill me with "one shot" all the time, they are just better at making shots normally. Some times I kill with one shot, just happen to get the gun in the right place. Sometime, I will call out those continuous "one shot" people by saying "Who needs aimbot when you can shoot like that!!!". Kinda having fun with them.. Anyway, glad to see that you are still reading this posting, hope your getting something out of it. To maximize getting something out of this post, you need to read all of them, I have gotten a lot of help from a lot of individuals and made friends with some Have a great day and keep on enjoying this great game. The folks at RAS trust me when I call someone out because I don't do it unless I am 100% sure and they will kick the individual. Since I started playing, the game has changed for the better. I used the sniper m99 all the time, got pretty good at it and actually feel I change the way others play because they knew I was lurking around. At first they fussed at me and called me the normal names, but now there are a lot of players using the m99. Other good players suggested to me to try the mrc more often, which I have and seem to enjoy the game with a little more versitility. Anyway, its been fun and thanks to your guidance in posting things here and staying out of nasty conversations that some seem to do. Be positive!!! CJo1964 Posted May 16, 2014 Share Posted May 16, 2014 To tell you the truth Tom, I havent played GRAW 2 for ages now (shame on me !). Got used to playing ARMA 3, but even that gets tiring. Wanted to go to different area for a while so am currently messing about with Star Trek Online, which, if you havent played it before.....large amounts of fun. Will go back to GRAW 2 though as I found this to be the best CQB game I ever came across, especially when the newer maps were developed by our talented people here. Sometimes i go back to stock weapons to rough it out in GRAW 2 but prefer to use the kits that we can use with the game that have been developed....gives you much more fun in the game. I only tend to play coop games, so probably wont come across you if you are doing the Team Deathmatch types. That must make it 29001 ? Ha ha....maybe see you ingame sometime.....good luck. CHANNA Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 For all noobs to talk about clan RaS: 1º any leader of any clan that has been in the game a mienmbro expelled from his clan and published it on their website as we have done. 2º i kick and ban from my servers and clan many RaS on my 6 years how leader.....i post screenshot, names and why was kick him from my clan.... 3º if someone ask "WHAT IS AIMBOT" is stupid llost my time to talk with this person......is obviously very noob. 4º to much players say " Members RaS use wallhack" but no one post any proof ......i post the proof about to much players..... 5º For this reason the game GRAW 2 is death......the last leaders not kick or ban hackers.....and good players just play games where the cheaters cant play.....like btbc 2- bat 3 and 4..... 6ºwe have servers on all this games...and alwyas are full... 7º if we are HACKERS.........why our server have people all the time???? 8º the graw 2 is the most difficult game i play on my life and just intelligent and pro players know to play this game....so...if sometime u think some player use wallhack is becouse know popular zone where noobs r all the time camping.....Old players know how long time someone need for use nade and this exploid when the round start for kill 2 or 3 players..... 9ºand this game is for good campers and smart people......so....if want to talk about clan RaS please....learn to play....learn how manage a servers.....and work very hard like..... ty at GAMESPY for close this game..... cheerS and my respect at all good, old and friends of the GRAW 2. I started this conversation a few years ago new to the game and on your server. Being new, I had no feel for skill levels and suspected that there was a lot of cheating. Now, after years playing, I come to realize that there are some very very good players, maybe some cheating but really not that many, I have defended your site stating that you really do try hard to kick cheaters. I have befriended some of your regular players, like Mistabone and others. Anytime I point out a cheater, your site trusts me, knowing I do not accuse unless I know without doubt a person is cheating, and sometimes kick based on what I say. It is good to see you on this forum and welcome. At present, I cannot play the game because something went wrong with my game file. I am in the process trying to locate and download another copy. Thanks for being here and hope your server continues. I'm not too fond of the one in UK because ping is too high. My ping was ok on the USA site.... It appears from reading this site that our game may make it back if we could just get everyone to get logged into the game. Old RAS members!!! Get signed in, Channa, do you have a server set up??? Maybe we all can get it together again, I enjoyed playing on your site, even when I couldn't play that well. I don't think you have too many dis-satisfied users, only a few who like to challenge your efforts. For me, I have been accused a couple of times while playing RAS, all I had to do was say "I don't cheat" without challenging your administrators and everything gets worked out easily. Rahn, do you have any suggestions how to get this started??? Come on everyone, this is a good game, lets not let it die like a couple other people wish would happen. Bet it wouldn't take long for you to get your skill back....maybe this game will revive quickly. It appears, you can log into the game as usual and it will automatically go to a current active site. You have to download software first that can be found in one of these forum discussing this. I tried it yesterday and did see a couple servers but no one was playing. It will get going again, given enough time for us active players of the game to get wind and things work as they should. Let me know of anything you find that would help me get started... Blame, I'm not sure when you played this last, most of the time I couldn't get on RAS because the site was full, kept trying to log in catching someone dropping out. I have noticed a few more servers are showing up on graw2, gamediggers site. Still not many players, but slightly growing. Would be nice to see some of the old faces playing the game. For now, it appears if a game is scheduled at a time suitable for anyone thruout the world, maybe some fun can be had. Anyway, miss playing, maybe in the future??? I play coop a lot, John's stuff, sure do kill a lot of enemy!!! So far, just minor tdm playing with a few players, but not often.
