ApexMods
Those days are over. They‘ve turned into Microsoft. Worthless junk. Same goes for YouTube and anything else they touch. Just needed to say this. /rant
Zeealex
I've found it turns up less relevant results and the whole not giving me the image I'm looking for and instead taking me to the site it's (supposedly) on is annoying. I just use duckduckgo these days. I like my privacy
KRP 56
All good things must pass. 😢 To much money ruins everything!
Zeealex
Egh, not too much money, just too much interference and beurocracy that comes with the inevitable expansion. A small company that makes a bunch of money can stay true to its values
AlexKimov
It (search) works fine for me, but i use search operators https://ahrefs.com/blog/google-advanced-search-operators/ . For example, this https://www.google.com/search?q="ghost recon"|"gr" heroes unleashed mod will show us topics on HU mod and this is what google knows about Zee https://www.google.com/search?q="zeealex" What i don't like is that Google hardly loves outbound links for websites, so if you want to push your website to the top, you need to buy this things, and it randomly ignores new websites and pages, you can wait too long while new webpage will be added to search index (because of very smart algorithms). Also, we have Yandex here, it works different (almost same) and search results are more revelant for local search. But google monopolizes search for example mobile one and Yandex loses positions from year to year. Cobblers
Pretty sure Google admitted to "hiding" news sites from searches as an "experiment". I've ditched the big brother apps like Facebook years ago and WhatsApp more recently once FB got their hands on to it. I use Opera as a browser and duck duck go for searches. Google mail would be gone already if I weren't so lazy, but changing all the sites with a new email address doesn't enthrall me much for obvious reasons.
