Been tweaking sounds and creating some new ones, but in all the mod should be ready in less than two weeks!

If the Mk17SSR is based on the long barrelled version of the Mk17, configured as counter-sniper/designated marksman, then it's in there. If it's based on the airsoft version of the Mk17, then it's not going to be, due to time constraints on me.

I have been playing the mod with P2-Cold Day in (you know where) and having a blast. Whoever scripted those missions deserves a cold beer, and a kick in the pants for making SP so dad-gumb hard. My F6 and F7 keys are wearing out.....

I need to re-start Blood Oil after applying the v1.4 patch and the effects.xml patch from Tinker.

migryder did most and maybe all the P2 missions. Agreed excellent missions.

well done, both the SCAR-H and HK417 looked outstanding. :thumbsup:

But would you mind doing Mk17 SSR too? it's not just an Mk17 LB with a longer handguard, it is something that outperforms Mk14 and Mk11 in every single way, SEALs are its biggest fanboys.

I would prefer to equip my sniper with Mk17 SSR instead of Mk17 LB as well. :whistle:

I'll look forward to trying this out as well. Glad to hear positive things about the sounds, it's a shame when excellent work is not complemented by the sounds. Some of the DTD stuff :<( for example.

UPDATE!! UPDATE!! UPDATE!!

I found that my models were too large, so I had to re-size all of them. It took me all week. I also found an error in the SA58 Carbine GUN file, giving it 30 rounds when the mag I have in it is a 20-round one. ALSO.....

I have made the Mk17SSR model in regular and -SD versions. I found the real Mk17SSR in the FNH Govt catalog,and some great reference pictures, so I made the model today and added it in the place of the Mk17DMR, which was a long barrelled plain rifle, compared the the SSR with it's Swarovski scope and specialized stock.

OK, I'm obvious still making noob mistakes:

I didn't update the Mk17 SSR .gun files to point to the correct .qob files (I left them pointing at the Mk17 LB files - doh!), so I have (yet again) uploaded a new version of the mod that corrects this goof - 7.62mm Mod v3.0b. I PM'd the powers that be and hopefully they will update the D/L link and not get too mad at me.

hey glad ya like P2 Thumper, I think already have a good idea of your take on it wombat he he - hey Thumper, maybe you could hook up with wombat and the Night Hawks for a round of coop play of that mod...if I can get GR to work on my Win 7 machine I might join in the frey too...yea I scripted the missions for it and Phlookian provided the bells n whistles that were used as part of those scripts...I'll at least have to crank up my old machine and give it a go with your mod or/and Blood Oil...enjoyP2.

This mod will be used in an upcoming Unofficial Expansion Pack for the Ghosts equipment. More about that next week...

OK, folks. I have made a bunch of new fixes to small issues I found, and I added some new things. I added FN's Mk13 grenade launcher, and created an HEDP type of 40mm grenade. I also added an Elcan sight to the Mk48Mod1 and the M240, and reticles for them. I sent JohnTC02 a copy of the new link for the file. Sorry to keep changing things, but it couldn't be helped.
