pz3
Not exactly Best bang for the buck but Its what I wanted, that and I really want to see AMD bring the competition back to intel (support the cause if you will). PSU: OCz Game Extreme 700watt MOBO: Gigabyte Ultra Durable II AMD 790FX CPU: AMD64 X2 6400+ 3.2ghz RAM: 2x2GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066 VIDEO: XFX 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 with a ZALMAN cooler. Nutlink
I have a very similar setup. PSU: OCZ 700w MOBO: ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless (nForce 590) CPU: Athlon X2 6400+ RAM: 4x1GB Patriot 4-4-4-12 DDR2 800 HDD: 74GB Raptor (OS) 150GB Raptor (Games) GPU: 8800GTS 640MB (soon to be in SLI) SOUND: X-Fi Xtreme Music OS: Vista Ultimate 64-bit All tucked in an old Lian Li case I bought like 6 years ago. Personally if I were you I'd have gone with the Phenom 9950. I plan on getting one once they release the 125W version because my mobo doesn't support the current 140W, but still a nice CPU you picked. With this setup I'm capable of playing all the games I have maxed out (except Crysis), so you should be better off than I am with that 8800GT and better motherboard. Nice. viiiper
You can't beat Lian-Li mine is 2002 PC-70 full tower and it's been the best thing since, still make new builds in it, just an awesome case. This one. I can not fault this full alu. case, after 6 years still preforms.

Nice rig - one question though: the video card. Your mobo supports Crossfire, so why not a Radeon card like HD 4850? : http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3341 That would opt for a Crossfire setup. This one. I can not fault this full alu. case, after 6 years still preforms. Yeah, my last 3 builds all had Lian-Li cases. They are super sweet with the brushed aluminum and just "feel" nice as all the parts just slide (yeah, I said slide, not fit haha) together so well. Do they still sell those PC70's with the 2 80mm fan squares on the front? I actually like that design (although I usually unplug 1 or both intake fans if they are too noisy) I thought they all moved to the big 120mm square on the front (my last two PC60B's had that design) ... have to check the website I guess
Nutlink
They have the PC-60s with 4x80MM fans. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811112022 I still prefer having 120mm fans though. Cooler and quieter.
