I think you mean "Do you have to set a counter before you can increment/decrement ?". This is for me also uncertain if that counter needs be be set (at startup for instance) to a value before you can make use of the 'Increment/Decrement' script. I always make an 'INI COUNTER/FLAGS' startup script where I set all my counters and flags to the right parameter, to be on the safe side. For instance:

Above code could be written with the use of the 'CounterIncrement/-Decrement' script. Though I am just a beginner in igor (just started 2 months ago and finished only 2 missions), but I feel this way you have more control over your scripting :hmm: (sounds funny). I tried above script with the 'CounterDecrement' script but that didn't work for me. Thats why I changed to the script above and use those combinations over the 'Increment/Decrement' scripts.

Well, just an approach from a "advanced igor rookie".

You DO NOT need to add a Counter Set, if it is to be set to 0. It will be fine.

Sorry, I'm at work and can't get too techinical but here is the only problem I am having at the moment. On mission 4, I take over the prison camp, eliminate the escaping prisoners, rescue the CIA agent, drop him back off at the truck and it says I have everything complete but nothing happens. I can't seem to see an extraction point.

I downloaded the missions patch last week so it is patched to the current verion (assuming I patched it correctly). Any help would be appreciated.

The only possible way to have the message appear on screen is by:

Area Secure Objective

CIA Agent Dies

These are the only 2 Counter Increments in the script, this is why it only works if you kill the CIA Agent.

Mission Extraction is activated, but you just have no idea were it is at this point.

Solution:

Add a Counter Increment for Extracting the CIA Agent.

Crashing right at start of mission 6 where you start by meeting the informant to get location of Taliban leader. Crashes at "mission loading" screen two times in a row. Gave up after that.

It says "Search is complete. There are no results to display". :wall:

DOWNLOAD CENTCOM

What that means is, you don`t have the file that Centcom has. Corrupt or bad download.

Sry about that. But as you saw, there were many files just for this problem missing.

Removed Console Command in Co-Op

No Issues

Mission 04:

Added Counter Increment

Mission 05 - 09 No Issues

Pending investigation

Notes:

I have made a mission before that reduces the Fog to only 5M, on the training map. Every so often you here static, Fog hits 100M for a second or 2, then returns to 5M. This has caused CTD many times for some.

Mission 11:

Actor placement off map corrected.

Mission 12:

Begin recording added?

Added a flag to allow responses in both blocks, however each cancelling there own state of Add Obj to the list, to ensure it is only added once.

Tommy, I have known a lot of people play this mod, cannot find file is because you do not have it.

Were did you download it from?

Filefront. I downloaded Tuneup Utilites 2007 trial version awhile back and it fried my printer to the point that I had to reinstall the dang thing. It may have also deleted these textures as well. I'll never stray from CCleaner again.

Ok, I completely redownloaded Centcom-reinstalled- and installed patchs 1 & 2. Along with a little something from a friend :ph34r: to make things run a little better. Everything was good in campaign mode until the very end of missions 3 & 4, all objectives completed, going from that screen to the stat screen showing any awards given and such. CTD at that point.

Install Tinker's patch (the last one, its in the download page of Centcom), it will probably fix all mod's bugs.

Perhaps you need to reread my post . Everything available is installed... Tinker, I was able to restart and complete mission 3 to the stat screen and no, there is no hero to unlock in that mission. As I stated in my previous post , the same thing happened at the end of mission 4. I also restarted that mission and completed it and it sucessfully went to the stat screen. I just wanted to let you know about these consecutive CTD's . Not complaining , just trying to be of assistance.

Not sure if you still mean at mission end and switching screens, or in mission?

Shadowing in the form of vehicle and actor (enemy) shadows/ silhouettes like this?

That is a known GR bug and is usually due to a certain way of mission scripting (hide character/vehicles). Don't shoot the shadows! Sometimes a video driver issue can also cause it (very unlikelly). What are your current video drivers? Maybe update them if needed?

I am really puzzled with your issues Tommy. I really have none of the problems you have and I have:

1. Downloaded the 'Centcom_Mod.7z' file from here (Rocky' Filefront).

2. Patched it accordingly with the 'missionsv3.0.zip' patch and

3. Just recently applied Tinker' 'mission fixes'.

Every patch I made sure I overwrited the existing mission files (not replacing the mission folder).

I hope you figure it out in the end!

The shadowing is ocurring on the ground inside the prison walls but in the open ground where there should not be any. The screenshot I've got , posting it here is the problem. It would clearly show what I'm talking about. Everything is installed per plan. I've never tried shooting at a shadow , I thought the point was to dust the baddies :lol: It's CTD'ing at the end before it goes to the stat screen and sometimes during the mission whilst not shooting shadows (sorry but that is a bit funny) but around the odd shadowing which I've not seen on any other map , Centcom or otherwise.
