I cant find the other files that are mentioned in the log that are unable to be found. I'm not even sure those missing files are the problem. To be honest I'm not sure what I should be looking for. This is what my log shows:

I have no way to check the missing file listed in the next to the last line of the log.

darkmap0mainmenu.rsb

I did a reinstall 2 weeks ago and have not redownloaded Centcom, which I will. Fantastic mod.

It would be my guess that darkmap0mainmenu.rsb would be in the 'Briefings" folder of Centcom.

Have a look

"RSGameStateMgr::ProcessMessage() duplicate state change request"

I don't have a clue about this one.

Generally, I think GR writes a new ike.log ever time the game is started up. I have on a couple of occassions looked to the ike for a clue for my own CTD, and had it point to the problem. As I said earlier, the clue will be in the last lines of the Ike. log.

Just me 2 cents.

Centcom Beta tested a Million times, no issues.

Download CENTCOM and play with no other mods activated.

There is no other way, you have a diffrent issue, unless, you using Mac. That`s another topic, i guess.

Centcom, downloded, and played fine, even on my Laptop.

Wot`s the Scoop?

There is no problem with running centcom on a Mac, other than the usual .rsb issues.

(have to resave certain textures, if not, they'll show up in a funny yellow, red, blue mixpattern)

i had to resave about 20 .rsb files to a format that fits both Mac and PC , A4R4G4B4.

i sent these files to monoman at macgamingmods.com (to all you Mac users out there)

RSGameStateMgr::ProcessMessage() duplicate state change request

none of the other stuff means anything - it will run.

this line is the problem, and i dont know what the hell it means. ill look into it for ya.

That doesnt mean anything other than that a crash occured. Doesnt tell us anything as we have no idea what the code stuff means. If it was just loading then it was probably a one off error, try going back in and trying the mission again and it will probably load. A couple of missions have CTD'ed for me but come up ok the second time I try. I think some of the mission scripting has some how carried over to the next mission causing problems, I have no idea how or even if its possible to do so but thats my theory, and Ive been working with GR long enough now that my theorys are nearly always right.

The only things worth looking for are missing game files or the last thing loaded before the crash. The missing darkmap one I have that, so thats nothing to worry about.

I loaded it as quick mission last night, it loaded fine and played the cinematic ok...I looked at IKE and the one funny thing I found was it reported not finding a model(qob) file ftg_vulcan or something like that...but that was in the body of the log and not the fianl line...missing RSB files should not impact loading, missing atr, vcl, GUN, item, prj type files on the other hand will cause CTD, in your case it never tried to load the map...try El_Davido's approach, if you were in Campaign mode I can't help, try loading it as a quick mission, it should load ok...there have been issues with campaign mode....? Maybe it has to do with unlocked hero or something? I don't know...

btw - I've never seen that duplicate state change thing before..or really noticed it anyway....

Hiya,

Excellent, congratulations on the release of CENTCOM, I am delighted that it is finally here. I can’t wait to see all the work that was put into it. Well done to Jay and the rest of the team, I was honoured to have a part in it, even though miniscule. Thank you letting me participate with the mod Jay, it was an enjoyable experience.

Hopefully, I will see you all in game sometime. Well when I can get myself into a shooter mood, albeit a tactical shooter. :D

As always take care, be safe, and farewell

Will you release another version of the mod, with some fixes to the many bugs there are in the current one ?

Its just impossible to finish the campaign without crashing many times.

I'm also hoping a full-fix is on the way as the mod has too much going for it not to make one IMO. Love some of the new maps & there are some very nice missions... Sadly, though, I'm having the same experiences w/ CTDs, bugs, etc. that others have reported. :( If a final full-fix comes, maybe the reversed compass can be repaired too?

I totally agree. Just to be clear, I'm in no way slamming anyone who had anything to do with this mod. In fact, if I were forced to run only one mod, this would easily be it

Tommy, Janie and Greg, and everyone elso who is having troubles,

Maybe it is wise to put all these questions in a topic at tech support. I found a thread which can be used: Issues With CentCom, ...

I have also putten up some possible sollutions which fix or prevent some issues from happening.

Game On!

TITAL

CENTCOM MOD RELEASED

Looks like we have to understand a few issues here! <_<

Mod has been in development for so long, some contributors, are simply not around anymore, and also there Max Files. :(

This is an amazing Mod. Unfortunately, there will be no map updates.

Regardless of my own opinions, Jay did try his best. to push it to the end, and give you Centcom. I can see Help and Support for any issues, besides a map problem. With that, a screenie would be good. Mod is actually made for those with the higher spec PC`s, I see no reason why a day on the Textures, could make a nice version 2. There is a lot of work there, just for enjoyment. I only joined the Team to fill Mission 11 and 12, and was amazed.

Thumbs up to all who contributed.

Tinker
