-=anders=-
Hi all! Since the last patch (1.10), there's some fault with the "confirm-button" for confirming orders for the AI-menu. I've had that button set for "mouse 3", so I tried to change that to some of the keyboard buttons, but with no luck. What the hell has happened? Now I can't make any orders for my team. Can you guys plz help me out? Btw, this is the best most intensing tactical shooter, I've ever played. Real quality work. Except for the inability to save in coop mp mode. This is so frustrating, and with no point. Atleast make it so it can be the same as in sp! Im looking forward to the expansion packs with fixes and new weapons. Dai-San
Erm Co-op isn't SP though so how would the saving work? Shorter missions agreed, cut the intro's out etc sure but you couldn't save in [GR] and the reason being I don't see how it would work, you gonna ask your mates to come around and sit exactly where they were, lean the way they were leaning, get ready to run right cos remember a week ago that bloke was just about to shoot you? -=anders=-
I have the same issue with the confirm button, in my case middle button click, it just doesnt work anymore. ######, could we do then? This is a must god damn it, then everyone else must've got the same problem!!! Arrgh, I'm angry now.. And Dai-San, it works in other games very good. The host just saves... Whats the problem with that?! If GRIN can't make this, atleast theres a point with checkpoint, like in SP. -=anders=-
This is top priority! I started a thread in tech support forum, but I thought that this should be in general too.. The problem is, and I've only noticed that one other has got the same problem as I, is that the "confirm-button" in the ordesr menu doesn't work, since the latest 1.10 patch. Plz fix this as fast as hell... If 2 has got it, then you all must have this error, if not? Then what the hell can we do to make it work again? I've tried button on my keayboard, and mouse. But it doesnt react at all... ######! tripwire01
I am running v.1.02 I select “1†for a team member, the menu appears. I use my mouse wheel to select an option i.e. “Followâ€, once it’s highlighted, how do I confirm/execute, the order? The satellite view works great and is a cool feature…if you’ve got the time. There is supposed to be a facility which allows you to send your team members to a destination you are pointing to. I may be simple but I just can’t seem to make it work…please help me and…keep it simple please.
mattchu7
I had the same problem when I started. It may be that your mouse is not working properly. I was using a G5 and it would not accept the wheel mouse click to execute the order. I went into game setting and re-mapped the action that is assigned to the mouse wheel to one of my keys that are close by and it works fine now. Try giving that a try. I am still trying to adjust my G5 to accept the buttons but not even the back button will work. If anyone else is having this problem and knows how to fix it please let us know. tecmic
Had the same prob. but realised u bring up x com or weapons list with your chosen key THEN, u use 'P' or 'N' to move up and down the options, or whatever other keys u choose.!!!

Pave Low
Had the same problem with my G5, the GRAW command options just stopped working suddenly I had to go into the settings for the MOUSE its-self, not the GRAW in-game settings. Make sure the wheel is set to Scroll/universal scroll and the side-side action is set to MIDDLE Mouse not foreword/back Etc.. For the G5 mouse you can set a "profile" for individual programs in the Logitech setpoint panel - Mouse button settings so you have the default settings for all other programs EG web browser etc.. Create a "profile" for GRAW.exeset 3 to universal scroll set 5 to "other", select task "Middle button" set 6 to "other", select task "Middle button"

=warcloud=
I'm sure some changes took place in grpcrcl1.10 game controls?. Well anyway i have Logitech G5 mouse and i use mouse 3 for bringing up the Cross-Com quick commands use in game, mouse 3 is the single side button on the G5. GRAW in-game menu, Controls / Misc / Cross-Com use, for me its assigned to mouse 3. Like i said i'm sure in grpcrcl1.06 Cross-Com use used to be in Controls / Tactics?. I don't use setpoint implementation, i use os implementation.

tripwire01
Thank you for the rapid response. Thank you for all your great advise and last, but not least, thank you for making me feel like a complete idiot. I am now, for a variety of reasons, on my third wheel mouse and I won’t get into how many years I’ve been using them…I never knew that you could depress the wheel like a button! mattchu7 wrote: “I was using a G5 and it would not accept the wheel mouse click to execute the order.†Sometimes it takes the simple comment to wake the simple mind. You all have my deepest gratitude for your help and my most sincere apology. Thanks again btw, the game (and the mouse) is working great! Minister
I've tried everything, nothing works. So I uninstalled, reinstalled and applied patch 1.06. Now the confirm button works again. It's the only solution, i'm afraid, GRIN XXXXXX up big time on the 1.10 patch.

Stickan
Could one of you having this issue please check what date your Settings\ctrl_set_def.xml file was "Modified"(right click -> Properties)? The last patch includes a new ctrl_set_def.xml file, so if you haven't changed anything the modified date should be the 18th of may. Also, if you open up that file, can you find something like this in it: <button id="hud_select" binding="2" device="mouse" group="misc"/> <button id="hud_up" binding="mouse wheel up" device="mouse" group="misc"/> <button id="hud_down" binding="mouse wheel down" device="mouse" group="misc"/>
Minister
I don't have 1.10 installed anymore, but if i remember correctly, that file was dated may 18. And those lines were in the file and i changed them to try to get it to work, but it didn't. I tried changing to another key, a new profile, new mouse driver, different mouse settings for the wheel, a different mouse from labtec and trying all of his wheel settings, but nothing worked. The only time it worked was when i was pointing at a team mate and then press mouse 2, then the menu came up, but if i tried to cofirm an order, it didn't work. Also, the F1, F2 etc key haven't worked from day 1.
