Cpl Ledanek
@firefly2442, is the Lanboy really light as they say? Just curious once again.
firefly2442
Light as in weight? Yeah, I think so. Of course, the power supply and the four hard drives in it make mine kind of heavy but it is considerably smaller than my alienware case which is far too bulky and has too much plastic IMO. I really like the Lanboy case, the only thing that would be nice is another fan on the side or top. But overall, it's pretty sweet. No firewire in the front though so if that is something you are looking for you might want to look around some more. There's even a little drawer that pulls out so you can store small tools and such in case you have to make repairs on the road. The blue light in the front fan is very bright, it lights up the room. Are you looking to get one?

WytchDokta
Heres the tower of my RIG, i will take a pic of the new TFT screen soon ... ← Haven't got any black facias for those CD/DVD drives? Would look alot better you know.... If you can't afford any (yeah I know, Maccy D's don't pay you very much at all), you can always get a black marker pen and colour them in by hand.... There's this holes that you can insert a heavy gauge paperclip into to pop the faceplate off. You don't need a bouncer or a Special Op guy to take it off. If your muscles are getting tired, then it probably won't pop off then. It shouldn't take that much force is all I'm saying. Use a glossy black marker or matte depends on your case. If your buddys hassle you about the color tell them to get a girlfriend so they'll have meaning in their existence. Other than that, nice rig. @firefly...its an open invitation to bankcruptcy if I get another case. I didn't know builiding a pc can be so addicting. Cpl Ledanek
@Raton, Aimessie (first pic), ahmmm, your optic drive is outside the case? Is it better that way?
RatoN
She is so special Right now, that configuration just allows for the disk reader to face you when the comp is sideways, and it allows for fast removal of readers as a unit. Foremost, Aimessie and the ''outside disk readers'' configuration is an experiment for a new type of box. The idea is to create a smaller, portable Lexan (Plexiglas) box… … Now I can built this revolutionary case that will change the world! - The CD / DVD readers are outside the case in an aluminium bracket, to allow them to be easily removed from the case, to make the case portable (for LAN games). - The case without the readers could be very small. - All the plugs and jacks in the back of the PC are in front of the case, except AC/PSU, for easy plug in/out. (Extensions that lead to the front, on a panel) - The case is air tight except for the fans holes, and they will be covered by filters. (So no more dust inside, including PSU) Wot you think bout that? ← If I can only motivate my self to do it me lazy
Foxtrot360
@Raton Filters wouldnt really allow that much cooling into the case if it has a filter right? and the outflow wouldnt work to good either. What happens when someones super fan sucks the filter into it and it blows up @Ledanek Black markers will look like ######. I dont know where that came from LOL

Foxtrot360
I tried black marker just to cover up a really really small white line on my black monitor and it was noticable. argh
Cpl Ledanek
I'd adjust the Gamma settings in your room so the black box inside resembles the black marker you used. and tuck the pc deeper inside your desk and stop bringing in ppl with eyeglasses that resemble the Hubble telescope. And no, it doesnt get sucked in and explode.
