DHT featuring Edmée Daenen - "Listen To Your Heart (Hardcore Remix)"

Whoa! What an awesome remix! Thet beat is phat!! I'm loving the vocals too. Edmée has definitely got some talent, hopefully we'll see and hear more of her in the future.

Hey Goosbumps, which version you got? The club version or the hardcore version? If you ain't the hardcore version, hit me up on MSN, I'll re-engineer it and mail it out to ya.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile,

I get a notion from the look in your eyes,

Yeah,

You've built a love, but that love falls apart,

Your little piece of heaven has turned to dark,

Listen to your heart, when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're goin', and I don't know why,

Listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile,

The precious moments are all lost in the tide,

Yeah,

You're swept away and nothing is what it seems,

The feeling of belonging to your dreeeeeeaaaaams....

So listen to your heart, when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're goin', and I don't know why,

Listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

Stars - Reunion

from the album Set Yourself On Fire, a great recommedation for all indie/grandious compositions, lyrics and arrangements lovers.

Definitely my pick of 2005.

Solex - "Untitled"

Ah, great to hear Solex. Seen her live a lot, back in the days. Good to hear she is still going strong overseas.

Eh? Solex is an alias of Michael Woods. Yep, and I've checked that right here on the CD label information. He also releases under the name of "Warrior". The track "Untitled" was released in 2003. Maybe we're talking about different artists (with the same name) here (if that's the case, it's likely that one bought the rights to the name "Solex").

DJ's Impact & Resist featuring Irani - "(The Light Still) Shines On Me"

"Take a look and see, the light still shines on me...."

Yeah you go Irani baby!!

In that case, Michael Woods bought the rights to use the name "Solex". I'll check out the original Solex though (I have a thing for girl DJ's). You got any links for the original Solex?

CLSM & Peter Hussey - "John Peel (Not Enough)"

John Peel isn't enough....

In the early nineties, Pete Tong played hardcore when it was the right speed. Seb plays house. Lotty plays house. Judge [Jules] plays housey trance. Fergie won't even venture past one hundred and forty-five B.P.M.

So who will support hard dance? Surprisingly, the most adventurous is drive time Dave Pearce, pl;aying old skool and hard trance on a sunday night. And beyond adventurous is John Peel, the only hope of a kick-drum of a lead track above a hundred and fifty B.P.M.... John Peel is not enough.

Words spoken by Peter Hussey.
