Dannik
When I do that, it starts to download again. ← There is a small update that Steam needs to download to complete the installation of the demo. It's much, much, MUCH smaller than the demo itself. There is, however, a lengthy unpacking and configuration phase which does take some time. Kurtz
You're right, Steam needs to download some cache files, the waiting period was 150 minutes. I deleted the file. Not worth the aggravation. Valve should be ashamed.
DeltaDude
The game is very cool, although I have to crank it down to pretty low levels to run it half way decently. I'm still surprised it runs at all though. However, this steam thing is absolute BS and deffinetely rules me out from ever purchasing the game. Just not worth the hassle. jmcdonald
quick query: How long estimated d/l on a 100.0 Mbps connection?
Dannik
quick query: How long estimated d/l on a 100.0 Mbps connection? ← If that's megabits per second, theoretical download time is just slightly longer than a minute. If that's a typo, well, no clue.
