The question is worded negatively so I didn't vote... just in case someone comes back to use the results against me, you know... ;)

Had the question been, "Do you love cats?" then "yes" would have been my answer. ;)

I remember a previous thread on the subject, and they seem to be the preferred pet on this website.

 Cats are preadator's for the home. Now everyone can own their very own personal predator. Not to mention that I have never met a cat that wasn't 100% PSYCHO. But that is what makes them cool!

My parents got a new one, actually it was a 'second hand'. Now that cat is such a sheepish, dump ###### and lacks any predator gen.

Sometimes i think he is mentally disabled (i dont see why that cant happen in the animal world).

Well considering this thread is about cats, i thought i'd put this post in here. It's a comparison between a cat's diary and a dog's diary....

8:00 a.m. Oh, boy! Dog food! My favorite!

9:30 a.m. Oh, boy! A car ride! My favorite!

9:40 a.m. Oh, boy! A walk! My favorite!

10:30 a.m. Oh, boy! Getting rubbed and petted! My

favorite!

11:30 a.m. Oh, boy! Dog food! My favorite!

Noon Oh, boy! The kids! My favorite!

1:00 p.m. Oh, boy! The yard! My favorite!

4:00 p.m. Oh, boy! To the park! My favorite!

5:00 p.m. Oh, boy! Dog food! My favorite!

5:30 p.m. Oh, boy! Pretty Mums! My favorite!

6:00 p.m. Oh, boy! Playing ball! My favorite!

6:30 a.m. Oh, boy! Watching TV with my master! My

favorite!

8:30 p.m. Oh, boy! Sleeping in master's bed! My

favorite!

FROM A CAT'S DAILY DIARY:

Day 183 of My Captivity: My captors continue to taunt

me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh

meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me

going is the hope of escape, and the mild scolding I get from ruining

the occasional piece of furniture.

Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant. Today my

attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were

walking almost succeeded; must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt

to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to

vomit on their favorite chair, must try this on their bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body

in an attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to

strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about

what a good little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices.

I was placed in solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I

could hear the noise and smell the food. More importantly, I overheard that

my confinement was due to my power of "allergies." Must learn what this

is and how to use it to my advantage.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The

dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously

a half-wit.

The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured. But I can wait; it is only a matter of time.

I both love and hate the beasts. It likely comes from 0wning (lol, owning) 5 of them.

Two kittens from a litter we found under our house.... (one yellow with tabby markings, one darker, with some brown)

1 Nasty, mean-hearted animal hating cat we found as a stray. Grey.

1 old and psychotic male, black and white.

1 small, thin, and crazy black cat.

We have only one male cat...

And we also have two dogs.

That's one big happy family you have there sup!

A few years back, my family had a cat, White Thunder, and he loves to shyt everywhere there is comfort. A few months of bad attitude found my Mom got pyssed, and we decided to let him be a street cat -- what he used to be -- and so we left him where there's always food. Feel quite guilty though :'( Recently there was a pregnant cat who meows at our backdoor every evening. Me and my bro feed her my Mom's fish/prawn/whatever we could find in the freezer. She gave birth a few weeks ago. A few days later, my bro tried to pat her. He came close, but she gave him a nasty cut at his finger instead. She ran away and was never seen ever since. We wanted to adopt her, but we didn't see that coming <_<
