I don't want to bring the mood down because the game looks great and everyone is excited, but I'm really skeptical about 206,000 views over night. On Friday you could see the views counter go up by 100-150 everytime you refreshed it, yet only around 35-45 people (guests included) viewing the thread. They can't all be exiting and reviewing 3x every second. It just doesn't add up. Seems more like you have someone with a little script opening and closing this thread constantly at certain times of the day. Seems a little fishy to me is all. ← umm does refreshing the page increase the view count? cause if so i'm probably responsible for about 10-20,000 of those sorry...

i also wish we could have seen some frag animations in the video. have we been told if we can throw 'nades while running or not? i'm assuming by desmond's post about the sound of rolling 'nades that we can roll them. can we cook 'em too? colin did you shoot any tangos through walls? i know we saw it in some screenies, i was just wondering what it was like from a player's perspective.

no cut scenes or load screens right? is there an arsenal of weapons on the helo? is that where we get briefings and decide what weapons to grab for the next mission/phase? do we get to fire from the helo like in the 360 vids? can we be shot down?

i like the idea of downloading software. especially if we have the option of doing pre-downloads so we can play the second it is released. i think vavle's system, although it has some flaws, is pretty sweet. i wish the whole pc gaming industry would go that way- no changing discs, no more scratched up discs and it would stop a lot of (some maybe?) piracy. "carving" time out of my day is next to impossible these days. i have plenty of time to play after the kids go to bed. i just can't leave the house because they are young. i also hate depending on the USPS for anything.
