  1. I take it as a refference to footsoldiers who smoke to relieve stress and always have a pack on themselves, which can be seen in movies like Platoon or Full Metal Jacket. Other than that no idea. Must be a designer's intention. But why is there a pack of cigarettes, and only a cigar to be worn in mouth, that's the question.
  2. Guess I will start making a new post with every contribution, instead of putting them in OP. Anyway, here's a rather trippy screenshot of a Holy lamma and an interesting glitch I took when the game was slowly exiting the Ansel mode. Fix it, Ubi!
  3. Oi, I'm back. Finally managed to complete the game, so not many screens since then, but got at least three of them: Time is God, Saturday night fever and Connecting flight. You can find them at the bottom of each category.
  4. This is not of those games I'd recommend to a kid. GTA V whatever, but Wildlands can often be pretty nasty. As for repetetive quotes, I'm so done with medals having coca plants on them. It's not cool anymore.
  5. This is not one specific screen, so I won't include it in the main post, but have you ever turned the camera, and saw how your avatar's facial expressions change? Here are at least some of my captures. Neither was taken during a cutscene. Also, yes, lighting does its part here.
  6. What a ninja post! ._. Anyway, kudos to the winner, although though I think you had better contributions than the winning sharpshooter shot ("Sniper in rain", or my personal favourite "Door kicker"), but hey, it's up to an individual opinion in the end. Big ups to participants and people who took their time to host and judge this event. I already have similar contest in mind, maybe for the future days.
  7. Seriously, Ubisoft, you missed such an opportunity for a great achievement title...
  8. I followed the difficulty skull indicator (because Payday 2 taught me so), yet managed to keep the most interesting regions to explore as an icing on a cake (snowy mountains and the desert part). Yet the actual order doesn't really matter.
  9. "I'm calling the rebels for a vehicle." "¡Hola, amigo, here's your submar... ¿Cómo es esto posible?"
  10. Updated with a cliché sniper shot, guy, who flipped over his car, mountains with a back light and a land of the ice. Check the main posts above. Also finally finished the game with 100% missions and 39% of found collectibles. Took me around 38 hours.
  11. Loving the Door kickin' one. By the way, you used a wrong the title for one of my shots, the one with the guy pointing to the sky. It's "The All-seeing" instead of "Killer queen". Intended title if the one above the picture.
  12. I'm all yours. And in case I win, I'd be happy to give you the sticker sheet, as I decided to take part simply for the sake of participating in such a great competition (and to receive a feedback from other Wildlands fans). Big ups to Rocky for that.
  13. I'm not a photographer. Been to a course once, but it was more than anything about how not to break the camere while using it. Taking shots in games is easy, because you can simply pause the time, set everything up. Speaking of which if you haven't already, you should check out Dead end thrills's website. That guy is a real maestro when it comes to taking ingame screenshots. Also if anybody's interested in any specific screen in higher resolution (some are available up to 4k), let me know, I will get it to you.
  14. Middle one's from the open beta. Hasn't changed much since then, but I tend to change the outfit based on a climate of region I'm currently operating in. Flor de Oro it is now.
  15. Oh, I see. Sorry for those confusing titles, intended ones are always above the specific screenhot. Well, Wiz Dom was taken on a bus stop close to a rebel camp, if I remember correctly. Here's a merged picture of every expectant. Both were taken with different FOV, but with the shadows on the ground, you can see where they were standing.
  16. It is, indeed. It was taken few moments before the Casino carnage mission in a region with a sea in the centre. Here's an uncropped version.
  17. Hey, we all did our best, am I right? In the end it's up the judge to decide who won and who is the winner. In my opinion, every screenshot is special in some way, as it captures individual player's view and experience with the game, which is amazing. Anyway, would be awesome if together with the verdict judge(s) could include a feedback on every member's contribution. This is why I love to join similar competitions: even if you don't win, you know how you can improve.
  18. Miscellaneous Camouflight Lammalicious Time is God
  19. Landscapes No man's land Plain sight Close encounters Never rest Connecting flight
  20. People, part 2 On the track Off the track Field of mine Go to hell Heart of stone / Rock solid Foreign beggar / Bow, man Wiz Dom Mama, I... Street kingdom Chutecut Saturday night fever
  21. Hey, guys, Word the newbie here. Since the Screenshot competition is over, I decided to make my own thread to spam with shots and hits taken in Wildlands game. People, part 1 Last supper The All-seeing Killer queen Eye of the storm Admiral Snackbar Bloodline (still no better title) Beer, bikes, bros Witness Mere maid
  22. This is the mission where I found out that C4s are useless as a distraction (used them to blow up the stash). It doesn't matter how well hidden you are when detonating them, the enemy always comes and finds you, ignoring the explosion. So much for stealthy approach with a boom in the end.
  23. Roger wilco. Bloodline (couldn't think of a better title) (first vertical shoot, and my personal favourite screenshot, considering the game takes place in a country where people get hanged on a daily basis for no real reason) Witness
  24. Appreciate it, chief. Here's some more. Admiral Snackbar Camouflight Go to hell (One for Zeealex) Lammalicious
  25. Dead pool Eye of the storm Killer queen The all-seeing The last supper
