COMMENTING DISABLED FOR JANUARY 2017

Posted By Pete on 10/02/06 14:59:20

Time and effort-wise, this is a substantial mod. Unfortunately, it caused several problems on my system- including permanently de-activating the threat indicator and stuffing up several mods of my own (even when de-activated). Would have been nice to include an "uninstall" function, guys.

Im having a crash everytime the mission "Report to Sitrep" is completed. After the outro with the heli-evac the computer either crashes or exits the program? I´ve even tried the 1.1 patch with the same results.. The mod is awesome so far!

In Operation Stabilize (GHOST RECON MOD), on level 12 (sodden departure), I can't seem to find what I need to in the house before the demon/witch/zombie destroys my platoon! What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone know the song on the first level and by what band. I think its by the living end

Is there any other site to get the 1.1 patch cause it would help to have some way of possibly fixing the bugs in game.

Great campaign!

Operation Stabilise is another one of my all-time favorites. The campaign is just superb and embedded in an extremely well researched backstory. All technical aspects - weapons, skins, sounds, videos, briefings, missions - are top-notch. The immersion is super intense - at one point in the campaign you'll encounter a mission that is literally too scary to do with the lights off. It's been a long time since I played through the entire campaign, but it is forever embedded in my memory as one of the absolute highlights of GR modding. In the download section here at GR.net, Operation Stabilise is listed under Total Conversions, but the sheer quality of this effort makes it a full expansion pack in my book. If you haven't tried this mod yet, you missed out on one of the shining examples of excellent Ghost Recon modding, and I'd suggest to download it right now! 10/10 Thanks to all involved!

I also get the Sodden Departure issue: I can't avoid the 'witch' (as IGOR mission editor tags her) nuking all my crew. IGOR says there is a 20 second lag before she goes up. I tried evacuating while the text is scrolling, no dice. I'm gonna try a fast recon on the ground floor, and then one up top, and then run... apparently there is a 'zone' (IGOR editor again) so mebbe if you're outside the zone when the place goes up... *shrug*. Mebbe ya ain't supposed to shoot the trio in the 'Holy Hut' between WP1 and WP2... *shrug* If none of those work, I'll cheat past it again. Shame the mods don't supply hints/walkthrus/whatever (tried googling too!) Especially when they use non-combat tactics...

Well... Sodden Departure may have to be bypassed with the 'allwin' cheat code. Tried bypassing the 'Holy Hut' (hut w/ 3 guys between WP1 & 2) and tried scanning the house before the 'witch' returns, no dice. If she touches ya in the house, you're toast, and once she is upstairs, you're stuffed. Even tried any number of variations playing the mission solo (single mission, non-campaign) and canna find the solution. Usually I can find the issue in IGOR (the mission editor) but nope, not here, short of deleting the 'search the house' mission condition.

Anyone?  I ordered the multi-pack of CD/DVD's... mebbe some nice soul packed it with the walkthru/solutiuon. But I ain't holding my breath, as Google hasn't found any reference but this one.

Love the Barret with its AP ammo though... as is the silenced G36 and the silenced Auzzie Steyr-Aug ( be silent, be deadly... )

Amazing campaign, I love it! Over 10 years old the original Ghost Recon game still rocks!

Is the threat indicator turn off on purpose or am I having issues?
