2008-06-22 00:22 Nik	Ghost Recon - Technical Support: hi, i was getting an error message when trying to load ghost recon on xp, i had island thunder and desert siege along with patches 1.3 and 1.4. i uninstalled the lot and re-installed just ghost recon (the original game) alone. I still get the same problem. It is as if the game trys to boot but doesn't, when i open the game the cpu speeds up, screen flickers and then just shows the desktop again along with and error message along the lines of 'Ghost Recon has experienced and error and needs to shut'. any ideas???? I highlighted airstrike, targeted the ADAT and hit F12, but no menu came up, works for the ghosts but not the airstrike. Had this problem before and had to reinstall the game (really don't want to again.) Have you seen this problem before and if so how do you fix it? Also, I can't play any of the custom co-op maps I have downloaded. They are in the correct folder but when I select co-op it only shows me the standard missions. Any suggestions? Thanks.	Answer

Im a huge stargate fan and have the stargate beta mod. What I would like to know, can I take objects from that mod and put them in the stock GR maps ? All Im looking to do is put the stargate and dhd at the spawn in points of the SP missions. Possible replacing all the bad guys with the jafa soldiers from the beta mod down the road. This would be just for my own personal enjoyment. I have no experience with modding GR of anykind, however I do have alot of experiance making custom Joint Operation maps. Looking theough the tutorials here, I dont see anything that would help me get started. Can you give me an idea or a tutorial on where to start or how to accomlish adding the stargate to the maps ? My mouse does not do this, and when I go to game play controls, highlight "Orders", and click on my scroll button to designate it, it doesn't select it for button 2. Any thoughts are appreciated. 2009-01-13 21:15 Aaron	Ghost Recon - Technical Support: I have the MSI bundle version that came with a MSI grafix card. I am running a ATI Readon 9250 pci slot grafix card with 256 mb of ram. My question is, The fix for MSI bundled version ghost recon 1 tells me to uninstall the game down load the fix then change my video drivers to the ones in the fix. Will that work if im not running that grafix card anymore? I do want to play with the new patches & be able to use mod's but I dont want to change my video drivers if its not going to work & just give a big mess to fix. Please help Thanks Aaron	Answer

Now, I have a PhotoShop Feather icon in each file. I would like to know what program to use to open the files with so the original icon is back on each RSB file. 2009-02-25 20:43 greg warren	Ghost Recon - Technical Support: I am currently playing ghost recon advanced war on my pc at home and I love the game!...I am soooo stuck!..I have tried for over two months trying to get thru one part and am unable to....it is when you enter the "square" and all I have is very limited weapons and a tank to help out, no other help is there..no other guys to help me, it is when a guy is trying to escape the area in a helicopter. I order the tank around killing the enemy and then get in-to the tank and drive it around killing everything I can find, I even find the helicopter sitting there ready for take off but I cannot assault it in any way. On top of that I am being assaulted by a helicopter, which according to the walk-thru I should be able to knock with a rocket launcher, which I do not have and there is NOT one anywhere to be found....I have tried using the "enter" key on my keyboard to try and enter the type in commands while playing but it doesn't do anything when I hit the "enter" key on the keyboard...is there anyway I can go into the "God-mode" while playing pc...HELP!!!!!...I am about to give up on this game and I love it!...I just cannot figure out how to capture that one guy....thanks......Greg...:o)	Answer

I reinstalled GRAW1, went to launch and I get the message: Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (4001). I checked the link, did what they suggested, tried other things I found but nothing, I still get the same thing. I was running the Beta Win 7 and it worked fine. Worked fine on Vista too.
